I play pretty heavy on DK. I qualified for the King of the Beach baseball championship last year. This year it's in Vegas last year it was in the Bahamas. What a great trip by the way. Love DK not a big fan of FD. My username on DK is whodey.

I'm pretty sure I've seen your name before. My dumb self decided to pitch Strasburg last night in a few lineups. What a waste that was. It seems like everytime I try to pick on the Reds (my favorite team) it really backfires. I can't figure out how to upload a photo?

I've been playing around with it a bit during baseball season (otherwise I would have minimal interest in baseball with Sox being so bad), and am going to throw a couple hundred extra on for football. I think I'm just going to do NFL and not college though, as I think college will be flukier.

Just remember their match code is spread out over time and is based upon your use. I put like 25 to start. Plated quite a bit during the NBA season and barely got my match back by the end of it. I joined probably halfway thru.

The most money I ever won in one tournament was during College Football bowl season. Something like 400 bucks for a 5 dollar entry. I guarantee you know more about college football than 99% of people using the site so it's actually a better decision than NFL.

Everyone picks players from the big games and ignore all the smaller schools. For example, Gunner Kiel could be a great pick many weeks this year but guys will draft Golson or Kessler every week for a higher price.

Interesting. I may have to give college a whirl as well then. That's a good point that most people are just there for NFL in the fall and probably do college more for fun.

I only put in like $25 or $50 at first. Mainly played NBA $1 & $2 entries. I've entered probably 15 or more of those. I've earned a whole $3 of my bonus. Lol. Yes, it's a ripoff.

I've done both.

It really comes down to which site you find more aesthetically pleasing and which type of roster you prefer. You draft less players on FanDuel. I think Draftkings is easier to use in terms of swapping players and I like how easy it is to get stats.

Overall it's very close. Basically what I would do is deposit the maximum in Draftkings and see how you like it. If you lose it all or just don't like it then deposit the max on FanDuel.

Note also that they don't match your deposit right away. It's used up based on how much you bet.

I've done both. I listed a few posts back that I prefer football in Fan Duel and golf and baseball in draft kings. Fan duel has less players needed for football and draft kings doesn't penalize players for getting out in baseball, so that is why I have my preferences. Both have easy entry/payout systems and a plethora of tournaments/leagues to join. I usually get in two large, cheap (a $1 and a $2) entry tournaments and then a 50/50 to hedge my bets. Since I win 50/50's about 70% of the time, I don't lose too much money too fast. Only when I win a couple hundred on a big tournament and get stupid do I lose my money fast.
