"Notre Dame is getting one official, definitely," Robertson said. "I think Notre Dame and Stanford are probably the main two [that will get officials.]

"I hear everybody talk about how great of a place Notre Dame is, so I really want to see it in depth.

"Me and Coach Booker have a great relationship, he's my recruiting coordinator. He wants me to get up there. He wanted me to camp out [for the Irish Invasion] but I had the IMG seven-on-sevens, so I really couldn't." - See more at: https://notredame.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1783117#sthash.XIKDTZtN.dpuf

Damn wish it was for the banquet.

I disagree. How often do we get an elite talent that says he's going to visit ND 'sometime', then never ends up doing so because he loses interest and/or commits elsewhere? I'll take the bird in the hand. Plus Texas game is gonna be rowdy and in good weather.

Hopefully we can put a beat down on Texas. What a way to start the year by taking them down on national television.

I see what you are saying but Loy made a good point by saying the lights and game won't impress Roberston more than a Banquet weekend plus it's later on in the process. Hard to land someone on signing day if they haven't visited in 12 months. Who knows though maybe he will love it and make a decision in November and we are having a great season. I just wish it was in December but you do make good points. Plus maybe some more one on one time during the Banquet plus all the commits on him.

I understand what you're saying but its not 12 months it'll be roughly 5 so not really even close to that.

lol you're right, I don't know why I wrote down 12 months

You probably knew he was visiting for Texas since last February and somehow confused that with the Texas game being 12 months from signing day :).

Let's go back to chirping on twitter lol. But of course I knew Robertson was visiting I was first to report it in this thread. But rivals told me first, I don't know shit

not a lock for an official next weekend HOWEVER they are still looking at georgia tech game as a possible....the biggest news out of all of this is that his sister is coming on the visit....she is a state record holder in track and they have noted they would like to be at the same school...ND is well aware of this

He'd be a great addition. Where does he project? Offense? Defense? I assume secondary or WR?

If she's a legitimate talent then by all means, lets make this happen.

I like him best at DB. He's a special athlete but I don't see a natural WR. I see a lock down DB. He's fast and quick at whichever position you put him. However, combine that quickness and speed and elite length for a CB. With that said, I'll let him play whatever position he wants.

I prefer him on defense as well and we are stocked at WR so would love to add him to the secondary but like you said let this kid play wherever he wants, he is that good

IMO it's the exact opposite with Robertson, he isn't a natural CB at all but can get away with it because he's an elite of the elite athlete.

I personally think he's the best WR in the class and the ideal replacement for Will Fuller.

Agree to disagree, he's not a natural hands catcher, fights the ball some. Also, when looking at a tweener prospect I think at all the tangible traits as see where they best fit. Everything for him is elite in all categories accept his length at CB is truly elite, not so at WR.

The Will Fuller comparisons are fair though, as he fights the ball too. So, I can see why you say that.
