“I know they were always good,” said Ford. “I really like Notre Dame because my brother went there. He’s the first college grad in my family, so that’s why it’s really big for me. That’s where he wants me to go. He says, ‘I’m telling you. You’ve got to get up there and visit.’ He always tells me to be patient too because I still have two years.”

His brother is former Irish cornerback Darrin Walls, who currently plays for the Jets. According to ISD, ND will be a serious player when they offer.

Irish247 expects his offer to come this week. He's friends with Damar Hamlin and Hamlin recently tweeted that he's trying to play with his boys in college, Ford being one of them.
