I have to admit that I only really "got into" this game on maybe.... Wednesday. Last year I was pumped for it after the win over UM.

I'm ready now, though. I've got the alarm set for 10:00 AM and College Gameday.... I don't know whether I'm going to be able to sleep I've got so much energy.

It'll suck having to wait until 8 PM, though.

How loud is the Coliseum?

I know I'm going to uh... hit some friendly fire on this one, so my apologies.. but aren't Californians too soft to take football seriously? I can't imagine the atmosphere being that intense.

And besides, havn't the vast majority of USC fans only become fans in the past 3 years?

Most USC fans are new to the team, I think that's true, but the Coliseum gets going pretty good from what I remember. I havent been to an ND v USC game in years so I'm not completely sure how it matches up to other stadiums. If ND can get an early lead the USC fans will start to turn on their team though. I have some friends who go to school at SC and they complain about how if they dont convert on 3rd down the fans boo. They're easy to silence it seems to me because they've been spoiled.

Californians are too soft to take anything in life seriously, except maybe breast implants... that's why So Cal Irish hearts like mine have a midwest state of mind...

Anyone seen the banner that some asshole is holding up on Gameday? It says "Brady or Charlie, who gets the first reach around?" What the hell does that mean? Also the one that says "Charlie Ate the Chocolate Factory" Please have some class. I have got to say there is a really funny one that says, Super Bowl rings Charlie Weis 4-Pete Carroll-0 and the other side is the "Play like a Champion Today." Good stuff.

If he has Comcast cable like I do, it's on Channel 5 (WRTV) or Channel 231 (WRTV HD) and it's on whatever corresponding ABC channels for Brighthouse (Time Warner) Cable and any Satelite networks in the area.

I don't know anything other than what he told her and her sister... Not sure where he lives exactly either... the realtionship isn't the best... but he is an irish fan and was complaining

Nevermind that we give up 186 per game, and the only QB to throw for more than 225 against us is Curtis "Fourth in the Nation" Painter, and JDB has thrown for 300 or more exactly ONCE.

It doesn't matter anymore. We've got to prove it to the country tonight or it's only going to be much worse. Hopefully the defense shows up with a chip on their shoulder and something to prove tonight.
