I think the Giants are moving on. Their post season history recently is great. Washington got the wrong team this time.

The Royals remind me SO MUCH of the 02 Angels... Light on star power underdog team, an okay rotation, but tons of speed off the bench, small ball and a just stupidly good bullpen... They are a basic clone of the 02 Angels team in terms of identity.

If the starters hold up my money is on them winning the WS...

Giants deserved to win series... their team showed up and understands how to handle the moment. Only Nats bats that showed up were Harper and Rendon. Was tough to watch them bat 4 spots apart while hitting the cover off the ball, and all of their teammates basically batting .100.

But I absolutely lost my shit on that Desmond check swing call. I don't know how you don't fucking ask for help there if it wasn't OBVIOUS he went. Desmond has had strikeout problems all year... and ironically the one time he actually checks his swing in the biggest moment he gets punched out.

There should be a rule that the home plate ump asks for help on every check swing. MLB network just posted the teams Era's for the series. Man, both teams can really pitch.
