Ok while I will agree Mark May is an ass clown. I didnt hear this statement. What I heard on this mornings round on Sportscenter was that USC is the Top 1 loss team to go to the Championship game. While I hate that he is still hanging on Poodles jock he did make a valid point if they win out they do deserve to go they play Cal, Oregon, US and UCLA in row. If they survive and they wont they should go. It was one of the 1st times I couldnt bag on him for what he said. Granted he had to piss me off by telling Holtz that he was glad that Lou didnt say ND was the top of the 1 loss group. Not sure why I am standing up for him but atleast he did make some sense this morning.

Texas Lost to #1 Ohio State. If they win out & Rutgers loses, they deserve to go. hopefully it willl be ND, but the voters hate ND too much to let that happen.

Gotta disagree with you about the Beavers. They used to be a perennial 1-10 embarassment. Over the past decade, they've become a solid mid-level Pac-10 program. They're going to a bowl game again this year(they have 6 wins with Stanford yet to play), maybe even a good one. Their national rankings: #34 in total O, #39 in total D (ND, for comparison, ranks #24 and #53).

Oregon State has been sending guys to the NFL: Chad Johnson, TJ Houshwhatshisname, Steven Jackson, Nick Barnett, all Beavers.

U$C losing to the Beave is like Florida losing to Alabama or Michigan losing to Iowa. It's an upset, for sure, but it in no way DQs the Condoms from the NC game. If they beat Oregon, Cal, ND, and UCLA in a row, they're in. Even if Rutgers wins out.
