I think I'll still watch the rest of the games instead of taking the advice of a guy who claimed Louisville's D played great vs WVU even though they gave up nearly 500 yards.

I am so sick of him. Herby is the only one who really knows what he is talking about. Fowler moderates, Corso and Holtz are there for comedy purposes and in my opinion they all do decent. May on the other hand is absolutely terrible. Where do you start? You could go on forever about him and how he hates ND and he's just not that smart in general.

What I love is when Notre Dame came back against MSU all he had to say was ND got lucky, MSU choked, threw it away etc, and when MSU came back against Northwestern he praised MSU like no other. MSU was awsome, blah blah blah etc.

Hate to start this tangent, but MSU did choke that game away. ND made plays but two years in a row now John L. Smith had his foot on our throat and took it off. Anybody that coaches that bad with a 19 point lead deserves to get fired.

During both that and the UCLA game I was telling my girl about Mark May and bascially called his statements on both games a good 20 minutes before he said them... it's comical how you can literally predict he's comments regardless...
-if ND loses it's cause they are garbage...
-if they win it's cause they should have lost and they are garbage...
-If they have an off week... ND didn't win because they didn't have the balls to schedule anybody...

Drew Stanton lost that game. Poor ball protection when we ripped it out at the 25. Poor decision to throw the ball when Crum was bearing down on him. Granted, there were some bad coaching decisions on MSU's part, but give our guys some credit too. They stripped that ball loose, forced a poor decision that was returned for a td, and stayed with a ball as it bounced off "14 body parts and the tuba section".

I give our guys credit too, but all John L. Smith had to do was run the ball with Cauldrick or whatever that big fella at running backs name is. He wasn't even in the game in the 4th quarter I believe.We had no answer for him. MSU got conservative because they thought they had it wrapped up, just like they let up last year in South Bend. This time they couldn't get it going again because we made some plays. Think if we're up by 19 going into the 4th quarter Weis lets up? Hell no! Weis would have buried them look at the Penn state game this year, up big and still runs the fake punt.Stanton never should have been in the position to make those mistakes. Great win and I'll take it but MSU coughed that game up as much as we took it.

just to get my two cents in, i thought the best representation of why ND won the MSU game happened on two plays. When BQ threw the interception to that DE, he tried to chase him down (did he push him out before the goalline? i forget). when lambert picked off stanton, stanton did not make an attempt to get in the play to tackle him. I'm not saying he could have, but it's a question of effort and it's a representation of the difference in the two teams and how they play.

Well, not exactly. What he wants is us to watch him on television. He doesn't get any money from us going on a message board and stating what an ass-clown he is.
Look at Trev Alberts. Entire threads were devoted to going over what a shmuck he was too, but he still got fired. Same for Jason Whitlock.
