Anybody going out scouting?

It's a slow week in the area, a lot of the locals are away or have a bye.

I'm going to watch St. Bonaventure play JSerra Catholic at Saddleback CC in Mission Viejo.

Looking forward to seeing Ricky Town and Daelin Hayes go up against the Trinity League's undefeated JSerra who's up to #10 in the latest poll.

Santa Margarita Catholic and KJ Costello are in Vegas to play Fertitta, Jones & Bishop Gorman, (Gorman should just go ahead and join the Trinity league already, they have John Bosco coming to town next weekend and opened @ Servite)

Undefeated Edison goes to #6 Servite

Centennial is playing #5 Long Beach Poly in Corona too.

Gotta ask a Cali guy, will anyone beat DLS this year? I was bummed that they got the best of Byrnes from my neck of the woods.

To be honest, I don't know much about them other than watching the Byrnes game. DLS is in the Bay area, I'm down in Orange Co south of LA.

Max Preps has DSL ranked #4 in Cali, Bosco is #1, Mater Dei is #2 Folsom is #3, Long Beach Poly is #5

My guess... if they lose it will be to ND WR target ESB and #6 Anaheim Servite next Friday (but the game is at DSL) or to Folsom in the playoffs. Their schedule is nothing like the Trinity League teams.

Centennial boot stomped LB Poly 42-20 and the game wasn't as close as the score looks.....Iman Marshall was absolutely torched on one play (i believe for 81 yards). Poly allowed at least 6 plays of 50+ yards; Poly jumped off-sides 5-6 times, tons of penalties...to me it doesn't appear that Poly is coached well.

Centennial lost to Bishop Gorman last week by one point.

JSerra throttled St. Bonaventure 42-28.

JSerra can play. They looked better than Servite did against Bishop Gorman, they looked as good as BG to be honest. They were all over Ricky Town. He was forced to dump off to RB's time after time and they dropped the passes time after time. He does have a cannon for a high schooler though. I don't know if he'll ever play at SC but I could see him transfer to a San Diego St or Fresno and light it up. He looks the part.

Daelin Hayes was on the sidelines in street clothes laughing away down 4 touchdowns. Didn't look good. Saw some SC coaches, they did the double take when I'm sitting there in my ND swag. They must have been proud to see Hayes yuckin it up down 28. I was told he hurt his shoulder pretty seriously by the Bonaventure's trainer's parents but he wasn't in a sling I will say this, he LOOKS like a stud. Looks like a NFL FS right now.

Lot's on ND gear in the house, lot's of Go Irish as I walked through the crowd.

That's big time football.

Gorman pounded Santa Margarita. Fertitta picked off Costello, but he still threw for 300+ yards.
