Trillion V-Buck Contest

Today has been pretty solid:

1) baby bro, my new roommate, must have lied when he said "he took care of the electric" at our new place. Needless to say we don't have power until tomorrow afternoon. (I type this from a BWW where I am to charge my phone aka alarm clock).

2) find out someone lost my W-4 that I filled out this summer. Instead of getting my first pay check tomorrow, I have to wait two more weeks.

3) I come home, already pissy that our power is disconnected and I'm broke as ****, to find our carbon monoxide/gas detector acting a fool. Call the fire depot, carry the cat outside, get pissed on by the cat. At least there was no problem other than a lame detector which needs to be replaced.

4) BWW only has PBR and Michelob Ultra on special. Am broke and stuck drinking PBR.

Need a hug, y'all.

I know, I saw that too and smiled. When it comes to fullbacks at ND, Zellers was right up there. I love bruising backs like those guys, you don't see them anymore and it's sad. That's another reason why Bettis has always been one of my favorites, that guy was always fighting for extra yards.

There were a lot of great answers to my favorite player, and some of the answers were definitely guys that I would put in my Top 10 and Top 25. Zibby was mentioned quite a bit, and he's certainly up there. We haven't had a real good punt returner since he graduated! Plus, he pulled off one of my favorite plays of all time against Michigan State...the snatch and grab TD:

He had a pretty nice INT return as play #4 too

Acamp mentioned Autry Denson first, and I was definitely a fan of Denson when he played, looks like he may be the RB coach at nearby Miami of Ohio which is cool. Floyd was one of favorite players, and used to be good friends with my cousin until she nagged him about his bad habits and he refused to listen...and promptly got his DUI. I am a fan of Cam too, but he's still writing his legacy and he's more of a "flavor of the month" or "flavor of the season" at the moment.

Oh, and the gimme question #1 regarding Arnaz Battle, always enjoyed watching him play too. Here was that game winner against Michigan State. It snapped a losing streak to the Spartans, a late TD coming from ol' walk on Dillingham:
