A few members requested a quick hit, news only thread so when we don't have time to get all of the details, opinions, and thoughts on a topic, we can still remain in the loop.

08/23/14: I'll start with this since we're all waiting on word from the 4 suspended players: There is no news. The investigation is still going on and players are still held out of practice and games. 08/26/14 BK Press Conference:

- No update on 4 suspended players. BK says he expects to hear something next week.

- Corey Robinson fractured thumb, had a pin put in and will play against Rice.

10/15/2014: MRI on Collinsworth revealed a slight labrum tear. Won't need surgery but likely out 4-6 weeks.

And you probably know by now, but all 5 of the suspended players will not be playing football this year.

I know this was just a typo, but it would be hysterical to see Hoge line up across from a slot WR.

In case you're MIA, Alize Jones, elite TE prospect has decommitted from UCLA and flipped to ND.

It's a visit weekend for some other recruits, so hopefully we add one more this weekend.

8/24/2015:

It's back for the first time.

- Jarron Jones and Shawn Crawford are out for the year with knee injuries.

- KVR has been reinstated by the NCAA, and Ishaq Williams is appealing right now to the NCAA. Who knows when we'll know for sure that he's in/out.

- Greg Bryant (gulp) has chosen to play at some Juco school and will likely never play again for Notre Dame.

- Hunter Johnson, 2017 QB, has committed to Tennessee.

- No other injuries to report (knock on wood).
