I figure what, one week maximum before this guy blames everything on concussions and files a lawsuit against the NCAA, the University, and the State of Georgia for failure to disclose the mental hazards of playing football?

What this man and his wife did, justice will hopefully be severe. My question is why is he not just labeled a deranged man? Why say 'Former GA Tech linebacker'? It's been a decade since he played! I have been a part of the game of football for over 40 years as a player, then a coach. When I'm eating lunch and the Lit. teacher comes up to me and says, "let me tell you what your football player said/did" I want to say right back, "please, by all means tell me what YOUR Lit student did!" It seems that people are only listed as ___ ____ football player when it involves something negative.

I know, I know, it sells papers & it attracts viewers. As a coach I just don't like it!
