Outside of both being in the Midwest, the two cities have zero in common.

Haha I thought it was clear that I was saying that a cold weather site really puts a damper on the occasion because you can't walk around and enjoy the pre-game festivities comfortably. So the two cities have in common the only thing that was relevant to my post -- cold weather in February.

I didn't realize that no one leaves their houses during winter in the Midwest.

Other than to the mountains for recreation, people don't travel to cold weather destinations in the middle of winter...for vacations. I'm sure the Minneapolis/St. Paul chamber of commerce has some numbers on out of town visitors to help prove this point, even taking into account those visiting for business purposes.

Besides you, the vast majority of people don't want to go to Minnesota in February, given the choice to go somewhere else.

Why are you trying to argue with Emcee about this?

Winter in Minnesota is appreciated in a way that I think is matched only by Vail. It's not like the rest of the Midwest. Those who make the trip will be pleasantly surprised. We're a happy bunch of snowmen.

Although I miss the beaches in south Florida, one thing I love about Phoenix is the tropical climate. Flagstaff is only 2 hours away for all the winter activities you could want.

Spend the day skiing and then it's just a short drive back to sunny and 75.

Fine. The video I take of you and your "soft serve" freezing your ass solidly to my front yard glacier should go viral in no time.

Phoenix isn't tropical. It's about as close as you can get to hell on earth outside of Saudi Arabia. Tropical places don't spend a third of the year above 100 degrees.
