I read where they released him because of concern about ties to LA street gangs. WTF? Not even going to trade him, just released him. Is this well known? I heard a little about the Eagles shopping him but to just cut him indicates there is more going on I think than salary cap issues...

He had two years left on his current contract. It's really odd to do that isn't it? I don't follow NFL contract negotiations.
