I think best case we get 2. Barnett will have to be bumped up to 5-star status and then Fitzpatrick. Fitzpatrick is a longshot but he is the closest thing we have to a 5 star with interest.

I don't think so. ND leads by a huge margin for Hilliard and Cornell, and they're both 5-stars.

I feel like one of our committed OL could get a 5th star.

Edit: I see they're only 95's on 247. I thought they were higher than that. Will be tough to get to the 98/99 level from there, but possible.

Hoge is almost a 97 on Composite. I think either Rivals or Scout will give him the 5th star.

I don't know about that...

Agreed, NDSean I appreciate your optimism but that isn't accurate. Even if we lead for both it's not a wide margin at all, not even close. Again I appreciate your optimism but a lot of what your posting is too pumped up with being a fan.

I meant for Cornell, but added Hilliard. Hilliard was close, but after blowing him away on his visit, I think ND is out front by a good bit now. Cornell is not even remotely close in my opinion. He just seems way too comfortable at Notre Dame. He's friends with James and has shown interest to play alongside Hilliard. I only see them both going to Notre Dame.

You really have to look at both sides here. Cornell almost committed to Michigan when he visited. He's never said that about ND. Hilliard has visited Michigan more than he has any other place. So, there is another school that both have had a tremendous amount of interest in together. Again while I think we are in play for both and in a spot that I find positive there isnt anyone out there that I follow that agrees with you. It's completely different to say "I'm very confident that we will land Cornell." vs. "We lead for Cornell by a huge margin." That goes for Hilliard as well. The only reason I'm saying this is I don't want the board to get the opinion that these are locks. There's just no actual information to tell us that.
