That's actually not a bad article. It sounds like their players are focussed. No bulletin board material here, outside of the mohawk quip. This should be a fun contest.

I'd like to see our entire defense run onto the field sporting mohawks. Hey, "we're not narrow minded AND we'll pop you right in the mouth."

"(Irish safety Tom) Zbikowski and his mohawk (haircut) caught my eye," Bihl said, shaking his head. "We don't like to do those things here."
That's right Bihl... Michigan doesn't mess with something as simple as haircut buffonery. I mean, the drunk and disorderly charges on starting OG Adam Stenavich and the indecent exposure charge on Larry Harrison pale in comparison to cutting your hair.

Shame on Zibby!

the indecent exposure charge on Larry Harrison

Talk about bizarre.

Imagine being a college co-ed, looking out your window and seeing a 300 pound man jacking himself on your front porch.

I'd drop out of college.

Aah yes, I see that the Michigan masterbater has resurfaced. Good to see.

By the way, how's Kates doing at scUM?

Wow. How quickly the mind changes gears. I forgot Jason Kates completely.

I'll say this: I saw the back cover of the media guide and noticed that one of the three captains had a mohawk on the cover. I had to admit, I was a bit surprised.

Times of changed, considering that Rick Majerus' bachelor "lifestyle" was a fit for ND. Now one of the footbal team's captains has a mohawk on the cover of the media guide.

We will throw the kitchen sink at you.

Are you prepared?

Kitchen sink? The problem with UM is that they've always been predictable. Every single year. You're never going to be out-coached by UM. Lumbering QBs......run it up the gut........blah blah blah. Sooo simple. 34-20 Notre Dame Du Lac.

Simple, but effective. I just hope our defense can do what they didn't do against Penn State last week. Tony Hunt ran all over us. Thank God for turnovers.

We will throw it back.

However, my concern is not Michigan's run game, but actually the passing game. I assume UM will get some good yards rushing...but my biggest concern is that ND can make UM one dimensional. That will be the only way we win this one.

It's going to be one hell of a game.

By kitchen sink I really mean the LBs blitzing almost all the time. It will be up to Quinn to make those throws under pressure, and for the OL to make sure he doesn't get hit too much. How this plays out will determine who controls the game and who has to react.

Bud, Brady and the O-line have already faced Ga Tech and Penn St's defenses. They're as ready for anything Michigan could do defensively as it is possible to be. Your defense, on the other hand, has faced the offenses of Vanderbilt and Central Michigan. So the real question is, are you prepared?

True, but, they are forced. They don't just happen.

doubt michigan's LBs are any faster than Georgia Techs were and I seriously doubt that they are any better than Penn States, so bring the blitz every down, every other down, whatever, just be prepared to give up some big plays. Nothing ND hasn't seen already this year.

Please blitz all the time. If you missed it, GTech did as well. Then they got tired and we started going on 12 and 14 play drives. Two missed field goals and a drop in the red zone cost us at least 6-10 points. In other words, we've seen it before so bring it on. John Carlson and Darius Walker will both have 100 yds receiving and Darius will run draws right by your LB's. Please!! Please blitz every play. Your best strategy is for the D-line to successfully play straight up, leaving seven men to cover. The minute you have to consistently blitz LBs, the game is over. If your Dline can play straight up, you've got a good chance.

Well, to be fair, if they blitz effectively and are able the run the ball on offense I'd be a bit worried about the outcome.

That said, I'm not worried about this o-line picking up blitzes @ home. I think we're gonna see Darius Walker turn at least one (if not several) 3-yard dump-off catch into a 40+ yard gain this game.
