I have a hard time believing a guy who has gone about the process with as much class and respect as Drue Tranquil will decommit and cancel a final visit to the school that currently has a verbal the day before that visit was set to take place. I think he gives them their final shot and makes a ultimate decision after, if for nothing more than respect for Purdue and that coaching staff.

Luatua seems to be the obvious choice. If I were him I would take the free Bama trip to visit his brother, but we'll see today if he will or not.

Would love it to be Nick Watkins / Payton Hendrix. Really get the ball rolling on Notre Dunne and our secondary recruiting.

II is saying it is NOT Luatua or Hoge.

Guess it has to be either Drue or one of the Notre Dunne kids. Smart money is Drue, but for some reason my gut says it's one of the Texans. Can't wait to find out.

this would lead me to believe hendrix or watkins coming from cooks not only texas recruiter but db's

JR Sandlin commitment bat signal?

Wiltfong had some very positive things to say about Sandlin post USC game. Brings a lot of energy and commitment to this specific job. He spends a lot of time with the recruits while on campus and he made it seem like it was something we were missing. All in all it sounded like another great hire.

In that case, why can't it be both? Didn't they allude to that a little in their post visit interview? Getting greedy here
