I'm all for speeding up the off season since the remaining tasks will have less of an impact than the activities we've already done (Including position changes with completed activities there). I think we should give a heads up for next off season if we're going to move quickly, however. I think some people missed the transfers process and convincing players to return because we weren't expecting an early push. I may not have had any players to convince to stay, and I probably would have taken any transfers I could get, but I can't really say. I think for next off season we could push every night, or at least every other night if everyone knows the timeline ahead of time.

I'm curious, did everyone show as Ready for the "Convince players to stay" phase? I honestly don't know if I lost anyone on my roster, it may be that everyone in Memphis was enjoying the sinking ship :laugh:

Uh huh. T-minus 2 hours or so. Still at work for the moment. Wish I was home watching the UK v. Miss St. game..

Boss needs to approve something before it goes live, had me waiting for half and hour so I jumped on IE.

I played one I share with a buddy of mine (online) just last night with only one of those "the commissioner has made changes" hiccups that made me play a game over. Other than that, no problems on my end.

Live chat was absolutely worthless. Said it's fine on his end, but then again Viknash wasn't doing too well on the english/cognition front.

I'm going to try some things to absolutely rule out my network/system.

So what's going down bro, saw you online but no advance?

Well, after spending time with EA chat, I went to the automated call back system. It did nothing, but give error messages, "your request cannot be processed at this time" or some such nonsense.

Deleting NCAA 14 files (per EA support) has caused my game to now have frequent freezes while I'm playing Ultimate Team. So there's that.

Next I suppose is to try to get through to EA over the phone again and double check that there's no change in the ports the game is using, since at least Lion has also been experiencing this.

EA's support is a joke. I cannot advance a dynasty I cannot even access.

Is there a way to transfer the commish via the website? If so, and Dre can still get in, maybe he could push the advance and reset our files.

Guys, I hate to say it but I think that dynasty file is corrupted. I could get into it just fine until this morning, and now I'm getting the same error that Andy was getting. Plus, I can get into and play my other online dynasty just fine, so it can't be the hardware or server. I bet somehow that dynasty file got corrupted on their end and now it's jacked for good. Just my 2¢, but having dealt with EA before it seems like the case. Bad part is, EA's customer service, as pointed out before, is completely worthless and there won't be **** they can or will do about it.

Edit: I just got done playing my other online dynasty's game and it gave me the stupid error message we've been getting from our dynasty for the first time ever. Didn't count the game, nothing. So, at this point, I guess it is on their end with the servers. This company sucks so bad. It's hilarious to think they have such a following they could be the best thing ever if they just tried a little. But, they don't. Not even close. It's no wonder the NCAA didn't re-up with them.

Not that it matters, but there is no option to transfer commish over the web. You CAN download the dynasty files as a zip though, which I will attempt when I get home later.

Going to go out on a limb and say this was EA's fault.

I'll tweet at their support account again tomorrow and tell them it must be on their end, because I have another dynasty that is now having the same issue.

It worries me that eventually there will be no support, since this is the last EA NCAA football game.

After seeing the way EA has handled their football franchises, Star Wars Old Republic, and running the Army of Two games into the ground...yeah, I'm probably done with EA too. The college football games were the last product of theirs that I still played, and that's gone now anyway.

The infuriating thing is the sheer amount of money that the fan base puts into this game, how fun it is when everything works right, and how "relatively" simple it seems to make sure it all works smoothly. I swear I don't think these guys play test half of what goes into this game. Hell, send it to me! I'll play test it for free! Not to mention, their support in the form of their servers is downright deplorable. I bet they have like one broken down, janky server from 1998 running Windows XP or something for the entire planet playing NCAA. At least the performance we get would make you think such. Hopefully someone at EA wakes up soon and thinks "Oh...crap. Guess I should reset the server." since it's obvious the other means of communication with them are useless.

Not sure if it means anything but I just logged into my other online dynasty and it worked fine. No problems.

Edit: Absolutely everything worked and it even uploaded the results faster if you can believe that. Give 'er a try, Andy!

I tried last night and got the same error. No dice. I then backed up my other dynasties and tried deleting all my files again. No dice.

It seems like the problem is when it attempts to download the dynasty files and it immediately fails.

I have a couple ideas, but I am so slammed Monday through Thursday that I don't have time to mess with it.

I might be able to **** with it some more tonight after lab.

If it seems like I'm playing NCAA 14 a ton (you see me on PSN), realize when I get home I check the auction house on Ultimate Team, post more auctions, then go do my homework / real work. My PS3 is on, but I'm only checking the coin transactions for a minute or so every hour or two.

I thought you were leaving your PS3 on as a distraction and actually running through the EA headquarter Liam-Neeson-style to try and get them to straighten their garbage out.
