Bolden is fast. Great speed. From the looks of the CB prospects on the list and where they're leaning, this would make sense and be a nice get.
Fast? Great speed? Where is this coming from? What do you see that I don't?
From his Scout profile:

His combines numbers don't indicate great speed nor are they representative of a CB. And note while he's currently listed at 175 he was measured at 151 at the San Antonio Combine. Kids do grow and workout and 24 pounds on an OL or a LB is not unheard of but on a CB?
I did a search at Scout under combines for Safeties (Scout lists him as a Safety)
http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=450&p=9&c=15&yr=2006&spid=-1&pid=33
Out of 200 Safeties listed Bolton's 4.74 40 was 89th.
His 4.49 shuttle was 113th.
His 28.5 vertical jump was 131st out of 172 that tested.
Not everybody tests in an event and apparently Bolton didn't test in the 3 Cone or Broad Jump.
Now conditions do vary from combine to combine so I searched the San Antonio results for Safeties:
http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=450&p=9&c=15&yr=2006&spid=-1&pid=33&loc=San+Antonio&sort=ss
His 40 was 7th out of 30
His shuttle was 21st out of 30
His vertical jump 18th out of 30.
By the way only 5 - 3 Star Safeties tested at the San Antonio Combine. There were no 4 or 5 Star Safeties.
Some other recruits that tested at San Antonio include Robert Hughes and Aaron Nagel.
Hughes RB had a 4.89 40 slower than Bolton but he outweighed him by 76 pounds! Hughes 4.15 shuttle was 0.34 faster and he jumped 5.5 inches higher at 34.0.
Nagel who played Safety but is projected as a LB was measured at 6-1 211 at San Antonio. He didn't participate in the 40 but posted a 4.20 shuttle and 29.0 vertical jump.
I find it curious that Nagle carrying 60 more pounds than posted a signifcantly better shuttle time and slightly better jump but he's being projected from Safety to LB while Bolton with relatively pedantic combine numbers is being projected from Safety to CB where impressive speed and superior leaping skills are essential.
Michael Bolden camped at ILL, UM, MIN, NIU, NW ND, and PU and got offers from all per Scout expect the Wolverines and the Irish. He may bloom during his senior season and become a great DB and earn offers from the big dawgs but right now he reminds me of Mike Richarson as a high school player with less speed.
Tell me what I'm missing.
