Jay hawk has nailed it. These guys continue to find ways to win. It's hell watching but in the end I believe they can do it.

I hope we are saying the same thing after the next 3 games, but not feeling it this year. I felt it last year, but I have more of a blah blah blah feel this go around.

My point about the MSU being 25th or 26th was based on my opinion that I think this team can be a ranked opponent, making this win more credible even if they weren't ranked today especially with a very easy schedule besides the Wolverines left for them.

Sorry, this team is just not very good. I heard people saying "this game will be the test of our team going foreward". Well guess what, we nearly crapped the bed again. Say what you want, but penalty flags are the only reason we were in, or won this game.

Were they bad calls?

I understand your point, and respectfully disagree. Also MSU has a game @ Northwestern.

I agree with most of this, but penalty flags helped us secure a W, but they weren't the only reason we were in this game. MSU struggled on O. We woulda still been in this game, and possibly even won it.

Just the last one, but the refs missed 2 other PI's, so I don't care.

The flag on our bench was the worst flag of the night. The MSU player threw a punch. Could have cost us the game since it backed us up to the 10 instead of being at the 35.

The ref crew was pretty bad today. That MSU guy should have been ejected yet our bench gets a flag. Smh.

Exactly. One of the reasons you throw deep is to draw PI calls.

Anyone saying MSU is the #1 defense in the country should take a peak at the Stanford/ASU game. Stanford is so strong.

Kelly calling dive right and dive left won't work against Stanford. My hope is we evolve before then. I don't quite understand Kelly's stubborn play calling.

Did you see the punch before the replay?

The announcers didn't.

I suspect the refs didn't either as they were more focused on going through the pileup checking on a fumble. As frequently happensin sports the first action is missed but teh followup is caught and penalized. It happens in all contact sports.

One of the refs was actually holding on to the player that threw the punch and watched him do it.

It's clear that the refs didn't see it or didn't think it was such a big deal. It was pretty easy to see live on tv though.
