Don't QUIT!!! That was happening to myself and another guy here. Don't save the file. When it asks you to overwrite the file, click NO. That has worked for me since.

Damn, I'll turn off autopilot after advance and avoid saving the file from now on. I'm trying to get some user-vs-user games in but this is the second dynasty I've had issues with in the past two weeks.

Exactly. And that was with extra days. I forgot to push it last night and can't from work. I was | | [this] close to dropping $25 for the stupid season pass JUST to be able to advance from work, but after seeing no one had played, I elected not to.

And Drew, rightfully so, is busting my balls to keep to advances, but you guys are making that VERY hard for me to do.

I understand some of you have had some issues, but with the knowledge out there about how to "work around" that error by not saving the O.D. file, please please, pretty please with sugar on top: can we all get our collective **** together?

I swear.. if Ultimate Team wasn't so ****ing pure awesome (addictive) I'd be a bit less nonchalant about all this.

Well, here's the problem I see. Playing all in the same conference is awesome and will provide some serious comedy and heartbreak, it also requires some seriously dedicated players to pull off though (because of all the head-to-head games). So far, there seems to be only a small handful of people in the dynasty that even post in this thread, much less get online and check the week. (I am constantly after the FIU snafu)

This could be a very serious problem moving forward because at least with people playing other teams they are playing a CPU or getting simmed. Period. They may face a player, but probably not every week. I think if this dynasty is going to work we're not only going to HAVE to get our sh** together, we're going to have to start being serious on the commitment of time for it.

I've posted in here and PM'd Da Rattlesnakes about playing our upcoming game and heard nothing back for a few days. WTH?

It may just be the Michigan game last weekend, everyone is kinda meh this week. So far I've played Odywon and Dre, both were quick with responses and willing to setup games. Bkess is up next for me after advance and already responded to my PM as well to setup a game. I think most people are good about playing their games, it may just be the fallout from the weekend.

Well, if we're going to get things moving again we're going to have to stick to advance dates and mean them. I think maybe something like if a player hasn't heard from another player by the date of advance the other player gets to play their team as the CPU? Doesn't that seem fair? You got a chance to schedule your game, you failed (for whatever reason) to do that, deal with the fallout.

There's a way to do that as commish isn't there Andy? Plus, it may be worth having everyone chip in $3 or something to buy the perk that lets you advance from anywhere. I bought it last year and it wasn't only in the full blown package. You could buy it separate as one of the perks in the PSN store under the add-ons. Mine was $10. Might check into that.

Just checked it and NDTiger06 left the dynasty (GoldenDomer87), Dominate Domers (Da Rattlesnakes) hasn't recruited, Flip Nasty (UConn) hasn't done either, Catholica Rule hasn't recruited and IrishLion10 is set to "away" or whatever the airplane icon means.

C'mon gentlemen, last night was supposed to be advance day and that's a lot of unfinished business left on the field. I had a BYW week...I REALLY want to play my game.

I set to autopilot so NDTiger06 could get a game in against CPU-controlled Cincy. We tried to play the game three times but his system froze every time we got to the pregame screen. I set to autopilot so he could play the game and our pair would at least be ready for advance. Trying to do the dynasty a service haha.

Once we advance I will turn autopilot off. Me and Steve already scheduled our matchup for whenever we advance. However, I thought we were advancing last night so we planned to play tomorrow at 2pm. We obviously need to change those plans now since we didn't advance yet.

Don't start playing Ultimate Team. It's so ****ing awesome it's changed the way I enjoy the game. The dynasty feels like work to a certain extent, while I play ultimate to have some serious fun. I think my UT record is something like 112-34.

Yeah, it's pretty cool. I like the fact that they make you buy re-ups for some of the guys to keep them...it's a good way of cleaning out the clutter once you start really getting players. I'm like 6-11 or something lol. I did splurge and got the Elite level Peyton Manning to QB my team. So, I start him and RoBo Jackson at tailback (gotta go with the best).

What did you think about my idea that if one human player doesn't get their game with the other player set up and played by the advance day the other player gets to play them as the CPU? Could you do that as the commish or would it take the other human player setting themselves to "away" status? Still haven't heard back from Snakes, btw.

Lost a tight one to Louisville. Funny thing was, I had more passing yards than Bridgewater, Snakes had more rushing yards than Johnson, and I won turnover margin and T.O.P. Just one of those crazy, who had the ball last games. Good stuff though. Of course, I'm still searching for my first conference victory and am only 2-4 overall.

You're going to rack up a few losses as you start out since it's David versus Goliath and you don't have a sling-shot.

You can start your team out by playing all the SPARQ trainer challenges and getting players for getting gold in the challenge.

Here's my current roster (W-L: 126-35):

I play Bettis at FB, since I rarely ask the FB to be on the field, to say nothing of blocking. Ted Ginn is a dedicated return man. I play J.P.P. as starting LE, alongside Peppers. And of course, Sea Bass does all kicking duties (so FB and P are mandatory placeholders and never see a snap).

Plan is to buy another Vernon Davis and then add a new starting LG.

I'm with ya, brother. I've only got 2 wins on the season and I'm 0-3 against the CPU. The only thing I've got going for me is the fact expectations are lower than normal in Memphis, so I may skate by and keep my job with 2-3 more wins.

So I always try to do an online dynasty like our own, as well as a couple of offline dynasties to fill time between advances.

I like to do one dynasty as a "rebuild" project and start off as a HC at a REALLY crappy school (maybe start as OC if I want to jump ship), and one dynasty where I simply pick ND and try to recruit to real life. I'm a sucker for realism, so I rename recruits to reflect our current recruiting classes once I've signed them in the game.

So after ND won the 2013 National Championship in my dynasty, Martin and Diaco both jumped ship to head coaching jobs. Who does the CPU hire as BK's new offensive coordinator? None other than Lane Kiffin.

It's great because he's way overrated in the game, so I had enough points to max out his OC skill tree... but I hate it so much that I'm about to restart my dynasty.

For future reference, is there a way to impact the coordinator hires if you are controlling the dynasty as the head coach?

Not really. I mean, you can ensure certain individuals get fired. For instance, I like to move all the USC starters down to 40 Overall to kill their team. The head coach is fired each season typically, but you can't really control where they land. They typically land at a 2-3 star school as a HC or as a coordinator at a 3-4 star school. There they may or may not have a couple decent seasons again before they get offered a decent position once again. However, if your coordinator takes off after the previously fired coach has 1 or 2 rebound years, they'll typically be a leading candidate to take the empty position if you're playing for a team like Notre Dame.
