Doug Martin really underperformed for me. I have an issue at RB bc I have Ahmad Bradshaw, and he is a beast, but i need Indy to make up their damn minds on when he is going to resume getting the majority of his carries... Im debating starting him this week against MIA and give it one more week, before I need to make a decision on my #2 RB spot.

That and Tom Brady better wake the hell up this week.

James Jones should be fine. I drafted Roddy in 2011 and he killed it for me. In 2012 i drafted him again, and his numbers dropped all season long... I made sure not to take him this year

Roddy is going to be bad (fantasy-wise) this year. He has a high ankle sprain, so it'll take him some time to be himself again.

I thought it was funny that he felt the need to clear the air for fantasy owners:

As far as fantasy if I don't participate in practice than don't start me it's a red flag
— Roddy White (@roddywhiteTV) September 9, 2013

Had a crappy NFL weekend, but I'm over it. Bring on MNF! Go Bengals, beat Ben Rapistberger.

That makes me sick. In my $ league I had Dez, Megatron, and D Jax as my receivers and lost. They all killed it. I was up by a few going into the 9ers game with Kap left, and he was all done but his D. In that league I got a ****ing 0 from Kap and he got like 10 from his D. Worst part, it was my closest friend, and it was rivalry week. Sonofabitch.

in fairness Jimmy Graham and James Jones carried the team for me. But I did laugh at my starting combo of QB and 2 WR. I was lucky too as my opponent had Kap also. My team is in ruins though Roddy White not doing anything, Vereen and Amendola both hurt.

Thats horrible luck having both Amendola and Vereen go down. Were you not able to pick up Edelman?

I missed that. My bad. I have Amendola and did the exact same thing.

I just snagged Viking D this morning off the wavier cuz they are playing their first home game against cleveland. Hopefully it will cash out big.

Scrambling about with lower level guys is way more fun that having a team with ARod, Megatron and Co. I like to play FF the same way I play Madden starting with a poor team and trusting my acumen haha :D

I have one Flex spot and one WR spot open on my roster. I need some help on who to play this week.

RB1 - M. Lynch
RB2 - J. Charles
FLEX - ???
WR1 - D. Jackson
WR2 - ???

Available options:

Steve Johnson @ Jets, Eddie Royal @ TN, Darren McFadden @ Denver, Tavon Austin @ Dallas, Gio Bennard vs Packers

Note: Scoring is basic plus 0.1 per carry and 0.2 per reception. The options listed are all averaging over 10 points per week. Royal is avg the highest, but I wonder if he'll fall back to earth soon. EJ Manuel seems to look S. Johnson's way often. Austin and Bennard seem to be finding their niche in their respective offenses. And because RunDMC is pretty much the Raiders only go-to player, I feel the Broncos will gameplan against him. As of right now, I have Royal and Johnson in those spots. Anyone think Bennard deserves a shot against the Pack this week?

Thanks for the help.

Help

Help

Royal wont repeat his production from last week. I like Johnson at WR and I always prefer RB in flex spots. When you compare touches...20 + touches to 5-8 there is obviously more opportunity. There for I would put McFadden at flex. Through two weeks 36 carries 177 YDS 1 TD 4.9 YPC 4 runs 20+ 7 REC 46 YDS

I personally would go Tavon and Gio

Dallas D is garbage. Tavon will get a ton of looks this week.

Packers D is giving up points like crazy. Gio is going to get the most carries now.

Raiders leading the league in rushing lol

Against the Colts and Jaguars....not really your cream of the crop when it comes to rush defense...

Manuel seems to have some chemistry with Johnson, but the Jets D is decent. McFadden is a Raider, and that speaks for itself. I don't know much about Austin. Gio is still splitting carries, although he seems to be getting the important ones. And Royal is killing it to start the season. The Chargers seem to be chucking all over the place. Now Royal may not repeat last weeks performance, but remember he scored 2 TDs in week one also. I would go with Royal until (if) he comes back down to earth, I'd rather play the hot hand and get burnt then sit him and lose when I coulda won. Then either McFadden or Bernard. OAK should stay in the game for a bit as they lead the league in sacks I believe (9) and Peyton just lost his left Tackle. And I expect Cinci to hang with the Packers. Both RBs should be viable options.

Alright boys quick fantasy question. Am I crazy for thinking I should start Alex Smith tonight? My quarterbacks are Cam Newton and Alex Smith. Both QBs are playing pretty bad defenses.

Should I stick with Cam, or switch to Alex Smith for this week? Reps to whoever answers

I have to go with Cam here. Alex Smith has a sweet matchup, but the Chiefs passing game is all short stuff, and they should be real effective running the ball with Charles against that Eagles D.

Cam will come around and be a stud, and it could definitely start this week with what is an awful Giants defense. When in doubt, play your studs.

thanks boys. That was what my head was telling me, but my heart was telling me the Giants porous defense will stiffen. I gotta stick with Cam.
