We kind of lost one of the advances last week to Beau being busy, but even if he wasn't, not everyone was ready to advance on time so try to be on top of that moving forward.

Next advance will be Sunday at midnight to kind of re-sync with the Sun/Thur. advance days. I will be advancing on time unless contacted ahead of time, so be mindful of advances.

Sorry I had to leave gentlemen, but the computer cost me some recruits and I was like "Wait, why am I still playing this ****** game when EA fixes nothing and it has NUMEROUS glitches, bugs and problems? Eff this!" Went and sold it back to GameStop as soon as I took it out of the PS3. So, unfortunately, I'm out. I hope NCAA 14 is better, but I doubt it will be. Definitely going to be a rental first, and with as long as I've bought this game franchise, that's sad.

I'm not giving excuses but I wanted to share my game against North Carolina with everyone. Offensively I had a strong game, My QB threw for 300+, RB 100+ 2 TDs and WR 10 reps for 150+ yards. Getting happy withy production from my team unfortunately what I faired very well with last season my defense is going to destroy me. I had NC on several 3rd and longs, some 3rd & 18, and 3rd & 15. NC always came up with a BIG play anytime they needed it!
I came back from being down 2 scores. I put together a drive and forced a turnover to get my final scoring drive with :38 left on the clock. I got NC to 4th & 8 with :03 left. On the final play NC went deep and their WR caught the pass while my CB and S literally crossed each other between the WR for a 70 yard pass! Game over. Out of all the games I played, it was the most angry I've been playing this game! All of NC scores were on big plays.
Regardless, Boston College is 0-3 and I've NEVER played a season so poorly.
I need to make changes on defense with personal and hope I can turn things around FAST. My recruiting is getting interest in 4 & 5 stars which is going to help, if I keep my job!

I know some get upset with EA, which I do as well but I still love the game and the league. Go Eagles!

T-minus 2 hours 19 minutes. And once again the Ducks and Miami are the ones not ready. Everytime I think they're gone for good, one of them actually plays and/or recruits. Advances will NOT be delayed for their habitual tardiness.

Just blew it against computer Auburn.

Failed to convert a 4th and 1 at the 39 yard line that would have allowed me to run out the clock, Auburn proceeded to hit a long pass on first down where the defender inexplicably failed to get his hands up for a sure interception.

I had the game winning score set up with about 15 seconds left, hit my WR on a wide-open streak after he beat press coverage... the pass proceeded to hit my receiver in the helmet, the user-catch button not responding. I almost threw my controller through my television when it bounced off his helmet and harmlessly to the turf. Had a wide-open path to the Natty, and now I need A LOT of help.

Does everyone remember my game with ECU last season and problems I had with their defense all lining up over my center? Well it's doing it again, NO LIE! I don't know the issue but apparently there is an issue with ECU but I've never had it done with any other team. Looks like I'm going to get my first win and some big stats!

Send him am PM seeing if he's game/able to play you. If not, you can play against his team controlled by the CPU. I think he's just being considerate (by setting auto-pilot) by trying not to halt advances while he's so busy if he doesn't get around to playing his game.

Boston College 1-4. Lost another heartbreaker in 2 OTs. The first half I played terrible on both sides of the ball. 2nd half I made some major adjustments and we had a game. I tied the game with :18 left to take it into OT. The second OT I was driving and threw a pass to the end zone, the safety LITERALLY jumped up in midair and turned his body to his left to a 45 degree angle. Total BS. Even my wife said whatever. Another heartbreaker. 1-4. I must saw Boston College gave #5 Florida State one heck of a fight.

My original goal was to win the ACC, now I just hope to go bowling!

I'm showing a restart, but I had issues with EA's server not uploading my results the first time I played. Hitman messaged me and said he had the same issue. Not sure if anyone else had issues with the server this week, but today was the first time I got signed into the EA servers without problems/disconnections.

Been playing road to glory a lot in my spare time, playing QB for Indiana (nice Air Raid playbook). However, my game likes to freeze A LOT during practice and sometimes during games in this mode. Anyone else have issues like that?

I experienced many freezes when I'm in practice mode. Luckily during gameplay I haven't experienced freezes. I probably just jinxed myself now.

I blame EA and the fact that half the time I only use the offline Dynasty and RTG when I buy the game, so at the time I didn't really care.

I'm online now however, it's all taken care of. Not sure who I want to use yet and I'd like to test the sliders a bit before I jump in. I'll let you know when I've decided.

I typically just run on AA with just a few tweaks to sliders, so these settings are a different ball game for me. I may switch the team, give me a few more days to work the kinks out of my play.

I would strongly advise against picking a non-power house. At this point a few of us have built our teams over a few seasons and will be absolutely dominant (think Alabama) against a smaller opponent. Also, NCAA 14 comes out on July 9, so there's not really time to turn a program around.

Regarding the sliders, they are my last set before my original launch 80GB PS3 finally died. Beau took over Commish for me until I got a replacement, but didn't change the sliders. I always intended them to be a living set. SPOILER: If you are acclimating to what you can expect, then take the sliders I listed in this thread and decrease false start by 10 (55) and increase User and CPU Tackling by 15 (55). -- Coming next week!
