I'm sorry this is not ND related. My 4 month old son Andrew had a tumor removed last week and is still undergoing tests. If you would, please remember him in your prayers. We will find out the results on Wednesday. Any help is appreciated!

Thank You

Thanks again for all your prayers. It turns out it is stage 4 Neuroblastoma(cancer). He looking at 8-12 months of chemotherapy, with a 60-65% rate of cure. So please continue to keep him in your prayers if you guys would.
Again thanks and God Bless.

Geeze! And I'm worried about traffic on the way home from work. This gives me some perspective on what's important in life. You and your son have my prayers.

Anyone who reads this post should offer some prayers for the person and their family who requested them.
Then, say some more prayers "THANKING God" for all the blessings that each of you have in your lives.
If anyone is near the Grotto, please light a candle for this family.

Gos Bless You All

The first thing we did after we parked was go to the Grotto.

I lit a candle for Andrew and said an Our Father and Hail Mary.

Thanks Jiggs, we appreciate it. This is the classiest forum in the country. Thanks for all the support from everyone here at IrishEnvy.com. It has helped us tremendously. I thought we would get about 4 or 5 responses!

God bless all of the guys from IrishEnvy.com!

My son and I were at grandma's and we rode our bikes through the campus and stopped by the grotto. We lit a candle and prayed for your son Andrew. One day I know that you'll be doing the same with your son. God Bless you and your family.

Great news! My son Andrew(now almost 10 months old) is still going through chemotherapy, but we found out today that there have been significant changes in his cancer! Andrew will no longer need chemo after next month and will only need bi-weekly check-ups to make sure the cancer doesn't come back. We'll hopefully be out of the woods by this time next year!

Thanks again for all your support and prayers.

Go Irish!

Hoping for the best for everyone involved. I've recently been blessed with meeting the love of my life and I know that God finds a way to touch people on a regular, personal basis. I'll keep your family in my thoughts and hope God continues to keep your son free from further harm.

Definitely in my prayers

Definitely in my prayers

Legend,

Hope all is well with your son. I can relate to what you are going through. Our daughter who is 14 mos old was just diagnosed with Leukemia in the beginning of August. She also has down syndrome and the downs kids are 15-20 higher risk to get the type of leukemia she has. She is also more likely to do better in fighting it b/c of the downs. She is doing a 6 mos chemo treatment that has already started. Her second round actually starts tomorrow. All I can tell you is remember a lot of people are praying for you and your family and know that God will take care of you. It's what my wife and I keep trying to tell oursleves everyday. I hope everything goes well and we are praying for you as well!
