I don't think a charging punch to the face is a justifiable reaction. Pointer is clearly in the wrong here. Pushes happen all the time. And most people have a non-primitive conscious that tells them not to swing at someone's face.

With all this said, I have no problem with Cameron defending himself. And I have no problem, if Cameron was trash talking. Little bumps, pushes, and trash are all a part of basketball.

What Pointer just did was idiotic.

Tonight, SJ did miss A LOT of wide open shots. So, ND has been getting some breaks in terms of points allowed.

Not taking away from the defense though, they have been playing superb.

Yes, that is correct. We will be the #4, #5, or #6 seed no matter what.

If we win and Cuse loses, we are the #4 seed.

If we win and Cuse beats Gtown/Depaul, we are the #5 seed.

If we lose, we are the #6 seed. (assuming Pitt beats Depaul this weekend)

This was probably already stated above but that dude should have been thrown out after he slapped Knight in the head. I blame this on the refs for not throwing him out of the game then. Now we will be without Cam against Louisville on Saturday. This equals crock of ****!

Just fully realized how much losing Cam hurts. EA, Grant, and Connaughton are going to get a workout against Lville. I'm not sure who can come in and give those guys a breather. The only other 4 guys who actually get PT (Cooley, Knight, Sherman, Auguste) are all big men. Unless Brey is planning on giving Burgett some random mins off the bench, it looks like those 3 might have to play all 40 mins. I just don't see us featuring any lineup with 3 bigs on the court.

At breys conference today, he said there is no possibility of an appeal.

Also, he said Austin Burgett will be seeing minutes.

I don't agree with this assessment. The O is above average that can get really hot or really cold. The D actually is better then it has been in recent years.

Our offense is spurratic, to say the least.
Defense isn't amazing, but we have been forcing low ppg recently. And it has been fairly consistent.
