Beat me to it Ironman...
Beat me to it Ironman...
BK stated that he will be on the scout team helping the defense prepare for games, and it sounds like he actually is healed up from both the ankle and the nerve damage at this point. The main reason for the decision to redshirt is not his lack of health now, but the decision not to waste a year of eligibility at this point in the season when we already have 3 good RBs in rotation. Fast forward to the 7:30 mark for the question on Amir:
Here's my reading material...
Nerve tissue growing back depends on severity, where the damage occurred on the nerve cell, and whether or not the nerve is myelinated.

It's hard to say if he's "back" to normal.
Human bodies are amazing... I do believe nerves can regenerate... I think he will be fine, the best thing is easing back into it...

Is Kelly asking TP what is for dinner? Italian night TP?
Paging Dr Johnnykillz...Paging Dr Johnnykillz...you're needed to help with some candy striping...
i thought kelly said he was 100% about 3 games into season, but since the backfield was so crowded, they were going to be cautious and simply redshirt him.
I really think him and Mahone will see the majority of the carries.I hope he starts.

Mahone? I'd be surprised. I'd love to see an Ohio boy to it though.

I really don't see mahone getting much work. I understand it's going to take Bryant some time to get to know the offense but between Amir, GAIII, and Bryant I just don't see mahone getting in there. On a side note there was an article on II from after the NC game where Amir talked quite a bit about playing slot
I don't see any reason to put GAIII ahead of Mahone, or even McDaniel
