BK stated that he will be on the scout team helping the defense prepare for games, and it sounds like he actually is healed up from both the ankle and the nerve damage at this point. The main reason for the decision to redshirt is not his lack of health now, but the decision not to waste a year of eligibility at this point in the season when we already have 3 good RBs in rotation. Nerve tissue growing back depends on severity, where the damage occurred on the nerve cell, and whether or not the nerve is myelinated.

Yes, Carlisle is healthy, they RS him. I expect him to be names starter next year.

I agree. If Amir is getting the bulk of the shared carries we will be in good shape. It all depends on how hard GA3 works this off-season. Lots of potential with him but Amir is probably a more natural fit.

There was a thread on him at DD back in January where the OP stated that the ankle was not quite 100% but could have played in the NC game if called upon. I don't know the OP's source but I believe he is a respected poster.

It struck me as a little odd that he's not 100% this long after his surgery.

I really don't see mahone getting much work. I understand it's going to take Bryant some time to get to know the offense but between Amir, GAIII, and Bryant I just don't see mahone getting in there. On a side note there was an article on II from after the NC game where Amir talked quite a bit about playing slot

Not sure if serious. He won't be an everydown back but he is a gamechanger back there. Mahon and McDaniel can't even come close to his big play ability. Kelly specifically said in multiple press conferences that as a staff they have to do a better job of getting him the ball.
