I was caught up, she had good reasons every time, including brother had car.
brother had car when he went to meet her in hawaii. lied to dad about meeting her, regrets it the most. his way of getting dad's approval of young lady. if dad knew they didn't meet he would have said no more. would have seen red flag that Manti should have seen.

her brother called and said she was in hospital when he was in cali.
they planned to meet each other in san diego before the accident. he is in san diego, doesn't have time to go see her in hospital because he flies to LA then home. he didn't want to have that conversation with parents about missing flight to go to hospital.

talks about "talking" to her while she was in coma. would put phone up to her mask and her breathing would quicken. heard respirator in background, was really real to him.

had his doubts about her having lukemia. now talking about what I assume to be Carlo's mom talking to Lennay on phone about cancer. His mom bought it and said anything that she needs help with be sure to let me know.
