I have a friend in Vegas placing a few bets for me. If he can find the points o/u for each team I think the Bama under 26.5 points looks almost as good as ND plus 9.5 points. I'm also putting real $s on ND outright and ND over 16.5 points. I hope he can track down the individual team o/u bets so I can make those.

Highest Scoring Quarter: 1st Quarter 11/4
Highest Scoring Quarter: 2nd Quarter 7/4
Highest Scoring Quarter: 3rd Quarter 3/1
Highest Scoring Quarter: 4th Quarter 5/2

If quarters tie, both will be paid. I cant apply a dead heat rule where the stakes are halved, divided by 3 or 4 to make up for tie.

Alabama Wins 1st Half & Game 1/3
Notre Dame Wins 1st Half & Game 7/2
Notre Dame Wins 1st Half & Alabama Wins Game 6/1
Alabama Wins 1st Half & Notre Dame Wins Game 10/1

The difference between these 4 options and the other 9 are that these 4 options would include a possible OT.

1st Half Tie & Alabama Wins Game 16/1
2nd Half Tie & Notre Dame Wins Game 20/1

1st Quarter Line: Alabama -3.5 1/1
1st Quarter Line: Notre Dame +3.5 1/1

1st Quarter Total Points: Over 7.5 1/1
1st Quarter Total Points: Under 7.5 1/1

1st Half Line: Alabama -6.5 1/1
1st Half Line: Notre Dame -6.5 1/1

1st Half Total Points: Over 20.5 1/1
1st Half Total Points: Under 20.5 1/1

Ugh, I have so many vmonies but I don't know what to bet. I've been on a roll as of late but I honestly think ND is going to pull this off..

My buddy is a huge degenerate. He has all of these side bets with his other degenerate bar friends. He is giving some of his friends ND +14-17 points for those who wont take just the 9.5. THats how confident he is that Bama rolls on ND.

So for those who dont know, a lightning bet is when you bet a certain amount of dollars (not sure if there is a limit) per point that a team covers by. SO if you want $25 per point, and the spread is 3, and the team you take wins by 10, then you get $175. BUUUUTT, if that same team -3 loses by 7, Then you owe $250. (10 point difference X $25).

So his FB status is "For every point ND wins by, I shall a keep a mustache that many months. Terrible lightning mustache bet"

The good thing about him loving Bama is that there is a reason he is a degenerate---becase he loses a high frequency.

I'd say we should probably be slight dogs - I'd say Bama beats us 55-60 times out of 100 - but I look at 9.5 points as free money. In fact, I'd say there is as good of a chance that Bama doesn't score 10 as there is of them beating us by 10. What am I missing?
