As I mentioned early it has been an usually busy day for me at work. On the one hand it has kept my mind off the game somewhat.

On other hand I think the next person that puts another report on my desk or sends another account to my worklist electronically I am going to have to smack them in mouth.

Nope, I feel fine and cherry wine. The people who see me in my ND gear are overwhelmingly positive. Now that ND is in the ACC, it seems like the FSU faithful are cheering for the Irish. Even Gene Williams told me he's rooting for us tonight.

From days as a youngin to my senior year in high school I played in 102 football games. Since then I have coached 101 more. I have always had this nervous sick feeling in my gut for almost everyone of those games.

Until today I have not felt that way about any game I was just going to watch and I watch a ton of games. Not USC in 05, not when my Bears made the SuperBowl. Tonights game just means so much.
