2012 season highlight video?

Is anyone making one? I would like to see one put together like Dietler did for the '05 and '06 seasons. If not I was going to try to do it if I can round up whole game videos of every game.

Thanks for the link! Looks like some have been removed but I can try and look other places for them too. I have done some video editing before but I am by no means great at it. If someone else is doing it then I will let them roll with it. If not I will start downloading in the next couple days. Will be a very lengthy process. And of course it wouldn't be done till HOPEFULLY after Jan 7th.

I tried my hand at making some highlight videos earlier in the year, but I sucked at it and took them down.

Its definitely not easy. Very time consuming. If I did it I would unfortunately not be able to do it in high def. It would take way too much space on my hard drive and I don't believe I have the CPU power to render in 1080 or even 720. I would have to have 5.1 audio though. I am a bit of an audio geek and want it to sound good thru my 300 lb 5 foot tall sub I built and my speakers taken from an imax theater (my smallest speakers).

It's not that bad. I've probably made like 7 or 8 in the past like 5 months and they don't take as long as you'd think.

Short videos no. Putting together a condensed 2 hour or shorter video from 40 or so hours of video does take some time. Picking out all the good plays offensive defensive and special teams plus press takes a ton of patience. It would be a month or more to get done working several hours a day at it probably.

Absolutely. I just didn't want to completely wait till after the bowl and not have a chance to download the videos. Like I said in the link above, there are already some that have been removed. By January most will be gone.

Lol. It takes a good 10hrs to make a good 4-6 min video so it is very time consuming.

Don't forget about the time it takes to upload to Youtube. None of the ones I made were over 5 minutes, and they took about 2 to 3 hours to upload.

Anyway, I think the videos you guys have made are spectacular.

If you're looking for a longer one, like an hour or something, I don't think you're going to find anyone here doing one. But if you're looking for short ones to get the hair on the back of your head standing and blood pumping, this is the place for you. Between the TP and me, I think we've got that covered.

Yeah that's what I was looking for. The ones Andy dietler made were full DVDs with nice looking menus and separated into chapters by games. All the videos were put to good music and synced up nicely. I think full run time was a little over an hour. His site is still up but most links are broken and I don't believe the full DVDs are still available for download. He even made a cover for the case.

Downloading the games, just in case, but having trouble finding BYU and BC. Any help finding these would be appreciated. I am downloading some highlight videos of those games, but I still want to try and get the full games.

All game videos are downloaded along with some other clips. If anyone wants something else added in let me know. I should have plenty of space to work with.

What I am looking for are good pieces of press conferences, clips of "analysts" saying we are no good or the few that sing our praises, etc. Anything that should be remembered from this season.

Also any good pictures or sound clips. Any media at all.
