Navy (5-3) at No. 7 Notre Dame (6-2), 1:00 pm EST
SOUTH BEND, Indiana (Ticker) - Navy has not beaten Notre Dame since 1963. The streak is not likely to end this weekend.
The seventh-ranked Fighting Irish try to extend their NCAA record winning streak over the Midshipmen to 42 games when they meet Saturday.
Notre Dame (6-2) is 68-9-1 all-time against Navy since a 35-14 setback to the Roger Staubach-led Midshipmen in 1963. The second-longest winning streak by one team over another was Nebraska's 36-game tear over Kansas, which ended last weekend.
The Irish, who are concluding a four-game homestand, are coming off a 41-21 triumph over Tennessee last week in which they scored the game's final 20 points. Tom Zbikowski returned both an interception and a punt for a touchdown in the triumph.
Brady Quinn needs just 107 yards to break Jarious Jackson's single-season passing record of 2,753 yards.
Navy (5-3) routed Tulane last week, 49-21, after scoring on its first four possessions to open a 28-0 first-quarter lead.
Quarterback Lamar Owens ran for three TDs for the Midshipmen, who have won five of their last six games and need one win in their last three contests to become bowl eligible for a third straight year.
