Put quotes around it and cite your sources...at least that's what my high school english teachers taught me back in the day lol. Doesn't that apply here??

Talks about the schedule thus far compared to Alabama. States that, to date, ours has been tougher. Even their future schedule, while tougher, is not overly hard. LSU can't pass in the SEC, and the SEC title game could be against Florida or Georgia, both of which can play terribly at times.

Shows that our defense is elite. The pass defense is playing great, even if not up to par with the run defense. Keeps everything in front without allowing the big play. (helped by drops against Miami)

Our offense does good, while not elite. Has had 28 20 or more plays against BCS conference foes. Does not turn the ball over.

The problem with analysts/pollsters is that they're stuck in 2010. This was back in the day when Arkansas, Alabama, Auburn, and LSU were all BCS bowl-worthy teams, and USC, Fla. and Georgia were decent in their own right.

But that was then. Now, while Alabama is great again, unlike before it doesn't necessarily have the high-powered running game. Auburn and Arkansas are tire fires. Florida, Georgia and USC are on the rise (because they've beaten up on each other...), but they're hardly unbeatable.

But until the streak of 6 straight Nat'l Championships is broken, perception will be reality.

Sad that playing 2 one win teams is the tough part of your schedule. They play LSU and Texas A&M, then they play powerhouses Western Carolina 1-8 and Auburn 1-7. So much for SOS meaning anything.

While discussing the SEC.... I'd take ND straight up over Georgia, South Carolina, and LSU any day of the week and bet my life savings. Hell, I'd take ND -7 against South Carolina or LSU... but wouldn't bet the house. Both of those teams are utter frauds when you actually watch their games. My dream scenario is that we get to play one of them in a BCS game if we pick up a loss and whoop some overrated SEC ***.

Florida is extremely legit and got very unlucky to lose to Georgia... almost reminded me of when we played South Florida last year. Horribly inopportune turnovers and still had a really good chance to win. It's too bad they won't get a chance to challenge 'Bama and instead the tide will destroy Georgia.

Article is positive towards ND.

Basically says we have had a tougher schedule then 'Bama up to this point. Gives a shout out to K. Russell.

Said that our suffocating run defense, shutdown secondary, and mistake free offense that can hit a big play is pretty much SEC powerhouse-like.

Shows a grid showing that ND has allowed 2 TD and has 10 INTs against teams from the BCS conference's.

I agree with you, but can we PLEASE not refer to SCar as "USC"? Its a confusing as a mofo. South Carolina isn't USC. USC is USC.

I think the key is that they would have to play in the championship game against FL/GA. I think Auburn will play them similar to how I expect BC to play us. Both are rivalry games against teams who have nothing else to play for besides derailing our seasons. I respect that conference championship game because they'll be playing a good team at a neutral site unlike Oregon who will be playing (hopefully) a 4-loss SC team in Eugene. The fact that they play an extra game I think entitles them to essentially remove their worst opponent when comparing their schedule against ND's.

I think this would have been true in 2010, 2011, and maybe back to 2009. But not this season.

IMHO playing one or more FCS teams in a season doesn't allow you to drop your worse opponent, because they are basically givens. Unless you're scUM lol.

Compares Bama's schedule with ND's and says besides the mutual victory over Michigan, none of Bama's wins match up to ND's schedule.

Praises KeiVarae Russle who has only allowed 22 yards on 12 targets against BCS conference teams.

Also ND allows less YPA on deep passes 20+ yards then it does on short passes of less than 10 yrds.
