I jumped a foot when Herschel grabbed Rick's wife. I just finished saying "she better not give him mouth -to -mouth."

He is bad in the sense of Bad ***. Decisions need to be made, period. I think he sees that now.

I was disappointed we didn't have any Michonne this episode. I gotta have me more katana action!

Pretty solid episode. Not as good as the season premiere, but still very entertaining. I have a feeling Rick should have just killed all the inmates.

Really looking forward to the appearance of the Governor and more than anything...MERL!!!

I'm really worried about the fact Rick left the prisoner out in the yard.

I think that comes back to haunt us somehow.

With the way last season ended and the skip ahead a few months to this season, I feel like this has been glossed over and am wondering a little-- so Rick hates Lori because she made him kill Shane?

Discuss/Enlighten.

Yeah, I think that plus the fact that she was super upset after he actually killed him that bothered him.

Even though she basically asked him to kill him.

Why can't she keep control of her kid when she has nothing else to do? Carl gets into so much trouble.

Also, when they broke in to the cafeteria it seemed like T-Dog was holding the door back against a lot more than just one walker. But when he opened it there was only one there.

Yeah. The last we saw, it seemed she was dumbfounded/horrified he killed him. Now, it seems like she's ok with it, but Rick hates her for getting him to do it. Not to mention, Shane was going to kill Rick anyway. That and the fact that Shane was growing crazy toward Rick and Lori and the entire group. I mean he had to go anyway, for the safety of Rick's family and the group's.

So I donwload the comics, and last night I started to read them again after the show. I left off at a very crazy part, which should be towards the end of this season. Then I picked up where I left off and HOLY ****ING SHITSTICK BATMAN! **** goes down.

Everyone says that about GOT too, and I love both series. Gives us something to look forward to.

For me, I love the "new" Rick. In control, all business and nothing personal, and he finally seems to be ditching that dead weight Lori. She's an annoying, b!tchy, moron.

You win the internet. Great pic.

Hahaha man, I just hate Lori. She makes everything worse. I'm glad Rick has wised up to her and just entered the badass zone. Sorry Lori, I don't need to hear about how you lost Carl again... I just macheted this prisoner in the head.

At least Carl is useful now. He's not getting anyone killed like before. The "you better run" was a turning point for Rick. There's no going back. He officially let a human being get devoured by zombies. Rick also finally realized that sh!t happens, and adopted this new truth to his zombie survival philosophy.

Way to contribute to the thread. Do you watch any tv? Almost all of it is make believe. Go be condescending on a different thread. Jesus dude.

You're joking, right?

No, but I wasn't trying to be condescending as much as I literally cannot wrap my mind around how adult males could be entertained by fantasy creatures and was hoping maybe someone could explain it to me. I concede that I have no imagination, but I consider it a blessing.

I'm having a hard time reconciling The Walking Dead with the terminology of "fantasy creatures."

OK, maybe I'm mistaken, but I thought the show was about zombies. I don't get the fascination, but I'm seeing it everywhere. You have this show, that weird-*** show Grimm. The werewolf teenager movies, the vampire show on HBO (True Blood?), and I'm sure I'm missing a ton of stuff. I just think the real world is interesting enough that I don't get why we need to make up mythical creatures. I don't dislike stories (I don't read novels, but I do love movies), I just like stories rooted in reality.

I was being liberal with your use of "fantasy." I think the modern trend is to make it as realistic as possible. I respect and understand your desire to watch "real" made up programming, but you seriously think a suspenseful thriller about zombies is bad television because it's not real? Or Game of Thrones?

Every TV show is made up. Every single one. And that includes the "reality" shows. So really, what's the difference if the characters aren't necessarily taken from a so-called "human" universe?

I heard someone else say this to me recently, so my exasperation is more out of curiosity than anything else.
