I know how to spell it. It was mentioned before. It bothered people when I was talking about him in the nd qb thread so I continue to spell it wrong.

Same thing happens with payton manning fans

WV went down, hoping UF does too. Hoping LSU downs SC, and K St may get a little less love tomorrow. Computers already love us, so a number 4 rating would not totally surprise me even if the rest of the fav's win. Not really worried about it now. Interesting,,, but if we keep winning, things will take care of themselves.

Agree. Oregon is a machine. A fast one. We have the speed, but our QB is still young and learning how to read. If Golson had Tommy's ability to read, we'd be close to an Oregon type O. Just my opinion.... That said, Golson just needs time. His growth is a little slower than I'd like to see, but I do see incremental improvement. Just really happy we have two guys that compliment each other and can do different things. EG+TR = 6-0.

I don't think we have near the speed offensively as Oregon.

Tommy deserves so much credit for what he has done for this team when they needed him the most. I was never a big Tommy fan, but wow does he deserve my apology. Even if he hits a dry spell,I I can't say I will ever criticise him from my la-z-boy.

In addition, it's amazing to know that I have lived to see one of the best Linebackers in an irish uniform ever.

Im so pissed that people are complaining about the call. He was down by forward progress you dumbasses. Half the D was celebrating by the time he squirmed in.

Ya Manti was run off already, and its not like there were incentives for the ref to give the game to ND, pac 12 refs..

Hats off to Stanford. That is a tough ****ing team. The front 7 on that side is scary good. They tested ND every minute. That is a team that knows how to win and has been there before. This is a HUGE step for the Irish. They didn't buckle but kept matching them blow for blow. I think I got gray hairs watching the game.

by far the best football game i have ever been to. crowd was SEC loud (ive been to SEC games) and the feeling of joy and vindication was palpable in the moments following the game

My youngest son (12) was watching the game with me. He seldom watches but is getting more into the Irish this year. Bandwagoning I suppose. One thing he did ask me was "when does Notre Dame have announcers that actually like them and not the other team?" I told him its always that way and I have gotten used to it. It sure would be nice to have some Domer homers calling the NBC games.

Totally agree. Whistle blows = Defense stops playing the ball. I was just pointing that out to my wife, that Manti seems to pull up and not drill the Stanford RB at the end of the play. Haters, and those looking for controversy.

Game against Oklahoma is gonna be HUGE.
