ND is definitely beating expectations with their performance thus far. Some people said they would only win 7 games this year. Now, 9+ wins is expected, and with some good fortune, and consistency, a undefeated/NC season isn't out of the realm of possibility.

With the defense playing dominating football...are there any recruits rumored to be giving ND another looksy? Any smoke out there connecting ND with some studs who have emerging interest?

No one that wasn't previously interested has come out and said they have a magical new found interest but if we keep winning well close on studs such as moore mack Alexander and folston and maybe even a Muhammad

This was said by some ESPN talking head last year but its very true "you wont believe the recruiting pull of championship level Notre Dame team, when they come back it'll be like Alabama 4 years ago"

If Golson keeps playing like this, wouldn't be surprised to see one of Hendrix or Kiehl see the writing on the wall and open up another scholarship. I never like to see quality depth leave, especially with injuries, but it is a good possibility. ND may need the stud defender to replenish the D line or secondary more than a 3rd string QB. Zaire seems solid so there will be enough scholarship QBs between Golson, Rees, Zaire, and one of Kiehl or Hendrix.

If ND has been able to recruit the way they have over the last 5 years while still being a mediocre program at best, imagine the flood of players that would accompany championship-level football.

IF anyone transfers, it won't be Kiel.

Kiehl already left. He is the starting QB for Auburn.

Hendrix is a pre-med student. He'a not going anywhere, neither is Kiel.
