Yes I am sober and I would like our chances with a month on prep nothing special about that team. Its amazing how Oregon doesn't look so great when they play people with real defensive front 7's and corners who can cover 1 vs 1.

Oh stop it.

The SEC is so full of mythology. In the regular season, LSU only gave up double digits 4 times and twenty or more twice:

Ore. - 27
WV - 21

Ark. - 17
UF - 11

Anything stick out about those two teams? All the other SEC dynamos, including Alabama, scored 9 or less. In the post-season, they were fortunate enough to play two more SEC teams, who were able to finally crack the LSU code. UGA managed a whopping 10, Alabama 21.

Oregon lost to Auburn because of Cam and Fairly were unstoppable forces that year. They lost to LSU because Oregon's defense was bad and they turned the ball over.

Oregon also scored 35 on USC, who has a good front 7, and 53 on Stanford who also had a decent front 7.

I t was 30 to 13 going into the 14th game was already over. One thing you also have to take into account is how many snaps there were during a game. More snaps= more scores no matter who is playing. Oregon and WVU score more because there are more snaps in the game as a whole but they still got their *** kicked. WVU lost by 20+ points. Those two teams offenses did not look so good when they played LSU

SC is soft please dont bring them up.

Lol wvu was in the game in the 4th qt til Claiborne returned that ko return for a td. I guess 500 yards of offense is not looking good

I am trying to remember that game wasn't LSU up by like 21 or 22 at half? Then WVU had a few scores then Claiborne returns a kick for a TD?

Its all about controlling the line of scrimmage. There is a reason Oregon had trouble against Auburn and LSU because they had good front 7's. I would be very confident in Florida vs Oregon with a month to prepare.

Well, it better happen in a bowl game because we all know that the FL skirts will NEVER play a non-conference game outside of their state (unlike Bama, LSU, and Georgia, schools with stones). God forbid they actually schedule a non-conference opponent outside their state without a month to prepare, like almost every other school in the country...

Interesting that you choose this year. What about 2010? Did you play outside the state then? How about 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006 and 2005?

Hmmmmmmm...let's look at those years, you know, when you guys still saddled up with those skirts and REFUSED to play out of state OOC. Here's is fearsome Florida State's rankings at the end of the year:

2010: unranked in the final BCS rankings
2009: unranked and SUCKED
2008: unranked
2007: unranked and SUCKED
2006: unranked and SUCKED
2005: 8-5, lost their last game and somehow dropped only one place in the polls to #23.

Soooooooooooooo...you guys put your skirts on and refused to play out of state because of the feared FSU seminoles those years???? And you defend that?? OK.

Mad? WTF? You think I was mad? I'm laughing at your candy-arses.

LOL at you for being on an Irish board trying to defend your pu$$y-a$$ schedule that you trot out. Funny how at first you try to defend it, and then when you look stupid, you try and pretend you don't need to schedule real teams away from home (unlike Georgia, Bama, LSU, etc).

Face it, you lose big-time on this argument, every single time. Unlike you, I know when my university has flaws, and I admit it. You keep living in your fantasy world chief...

I am going to bump this thread if Bama plays Oregon. Oregon is a running football team and Saban will have over a month to prepare, Bama will beat them easy. If Bama's players need breaks all they have to do is fake cramps.

The new one you'll see this year is helmets popping off, oops. Stop play... Coach send in a fresh one please.

You seem pretty upset. What is the flaw in Florida's scheduling? Why on earth would somebody in power change it? Florida schedule seems pretty tough to me. Florida plays 3-6 in the AP and already played A & M.

How did this go from Saban complaining to Florida's schedule?

Back to original topic, coaches don't complain about things that would help their team so he is clearly concerned about his defense playing these up tempo teams.

Such a pathetic fail.

1. First you bring up FSU, then I showed you the #'s and you STFU regarding them.

2. Then you try and wish that you could get me mad...another epic fail. Your weak-*** schedule and your pathetic attempt at defending it make me laugh; they definitely don't get me upset.

3. Why on earth would someone change your schedule? Because real teams play outside of their comfort zones. The pansy-asses at Florida will NEVER play someone decent on the road out of state that they don't play every single year because they know how difficult it is to play teams that you've never faced before (meaning, you don't know them inside and out like you do conference foes) and they're too scared to lose. Of course, you tried to say that the SEC is too hard, but then Bama, LSU, and Georgia all play tough OOC and OOS opponents. But FL is too damn scared to do that.

4. Fail on my part for thinking you weren't a troll when you posted that video on Deeb's thread. In my defense, I wasn't o-line, but still, I should've banned your troll-*** when I did see it, but I thought it was just a slip-up and I usually enjoy hearing from other teams' fans. But I missed on your schtick. My bad.

Anyways, pathetic fail, and you have no comeback other than 'why change it'? So put your skirt back on Sally, and keep your b.s. argument on your Gator boards...

Not defending anyone or taking sides, but Florida and their weak *** schedule have won two BCS championships while ND and our tough schedule haven't. Maybe Florida is doing something right (scheduling-wise).

1. Historically how good has FSU been? You compared Florida to Georgia Alabama and LSU when talking about out of conference games. Who can Alabama play in their state and give them a big game out of conference? Who can LSU play?

2. I dont "wish that I could get you mad" you actually are mad over something you cant control and means nothing. Why on earth would you be upset about Florida's schedule?

3. It has nothing to do with being scared to lose it has everything to do with revenue.

4. Where is the trolling? Lets be honest if I was a troll I would be banned.

Its not a comeback its logic. Florida plays in the SEC the best conference in football. Every year Florida plays FSU a team that should be good every year but as you stated earlier that does not always happen. That's not Florida's fault.

Even the "tough" sec "schedule" is overblown. The last time I looked Kentucky, Arkansas, Auburn, Missassippi, Southern Missassippi and Tennessee were all in the sec. Perhaps they can strengthen their schedules if they add Kansas and Washington State. Until they do this, they will just have to suffer and keep avoiding any outside challenges unless they have a month or two to prepare.
As for that big full back: kinetic energy equals 1/2 mass times velocity squared, or to put it another way, force equals mass times acceleration. (Or fron the defensive back's view point, the force to stop the sums-er-bitch, mass times deceleration; to neutralize the big guy's kinetic energy [i.e., get him one at rest on the ground] the defensive back must generate an equal amount of KE. )

This is why we need a jumbo backfield of Nix, Eifert, Truit and Day.

My last exposure to physics was about fifty years ago, so I may have some of the equations wrong, but I still think it is easier to stop a bee going fast than a cement truck, even going slow.

1. Historically? Sh!tty. 80's and 90's? Great. 00's? Mostly sh!tty. So historically, they've sucked for the most part.

2. Nope, but nice try. Still laughing at you backpedal worse than Gray Gray.

3. Ohhhh, so it's revenue now??? Funny how when the SEC honks bag on ND's schedule when they don't think it's great enough, they never accept the 'revenue' card. But you don't mind pulling it.

4. Where is the trolling? Seriously? You posted a video of Deeb getting beat by a FL recruit the day Deeb committed to ND. That's not trolling??? Like I said, I wasn't here that day so I didn't ban you, and gave you the benefit of the doubt. I was wrong.

And Nuke, you did take sides in the argument, and that's completely fine, but you missed the point. I'm not arguing how good FL was, nor am I arguing if their schedule works. All I said was that FL continues to be p**sies about their schedule, and have been for over 2 decades. Gatorboy gets pissed every time anyone here bags on their schedule, or God-forbid, the SEC.

1. so they were great for a period of time and should be great right now?

2 what backpedal?

3. Why are you bringing up something I didn't say you dont see me complaining about ND schedule

4. So the Deeb video is all you got? Again where is the trolling? If I have been trolling surely you can point these times out and ban me for it

I am not pissed at all about you talking about you crying about Florida's schedule. What's interesting is you said earlier you like hearing other teams fans opinions on different subjects.

that is a cowards way of thinking... ND will earn its NC when they get one.

btw... I still cant believe a few (very few) people defended ALLGATOR in the Deeb thread after I jumped on him for trolling... Seems like EVERYONE has finally come around and admitted that it was trolling.

ALLGATOR you miss the point LA is making. Florida refuses to leave Florida, unless it is an SEC game. Come play up north in November. Heck even play up here in September. Show some stones hop on a plane and prove that the team can win against any team anywhere. You even made the argument for LA when you said why should Florida play out of state. The southern teams are historically scared to play north of the Mason-Dixon. Man up and prove you can play in the cold and not in your backyard.

I think there might be a better way to word this. And no, I didn't take a side. I pointed out that they play a soft schedule (LA's argument) and that they won two NCs so why would they schedule anyone else (Gator's argument). You both have valid points. I also think it's retarded for fans of other teams to troll on here, which is what Gator is doing, just not as blatantly as other trolls.

No I am not missing his point I just think it is misguided and question why does he even care.
There is no reason Florida should leave the state for an OCC game from Florida's perspective and that is not going to change.
