Quinn has put up impressive numbers, but it’s hard to throw when you’re on your back

Very original.

What a complete D*ckwad. From the sounds of it, these guys are going to play a flawless, mistake free football game.

I'm $hitting myself with fear.

Moron.

Crap like this makes me laugh.

"My esteemed, delusional colleague Pete DiPrimio argues in his column today that the Purdue “Oops, we lost it again” Boilermakers will beat Notre Dame on Saturday in West Lafayette.

I’ll give him this much: He has a future in fiction writing."

LMAO! Did anyone read the related article?

Is this guy the cousin of ex-FEMA Director Brown????

"Big Game Joe Tiller will show who the amateur is. Charlie Weis can flout all the Super Bowl rings and NFL insight he wants. Tiller has thrived at the college level for decades. He has won in the high-plain vastness of Wyoming. He has not just resurrected the Purdue program, but elevated it to unsurpassed heights.

Yes, the Boilers have shown an amazing ability to lose close games. But they have positioned themselves to win all those games, and if you do that enough, eventually the breaks go your way."

Let me see...I think 16 games are enough to establish a pattern...PU has lost FIFTEEN OF THEIR LAST SIXTEEN GAMES DECIDED BY SEVEN POINTS!!!!

Yes, Tiller will show who the amateur is, the question is will the mirror, mirror on the wall answer back.....

Finally, "THRIVING IN WYOMING"....against the likes of Nevada, Rice and whoever else makes up the WAC or Mtn West...doesn't exactly qualify one for the college coaching pantheon....Yes, Tiller has done a fine job in resurrecting a moribund program, but until they actually win the big ones on a consistent basis, he'll be a 'solid coach'...

This guy needs to move away from the ethanol plant...

"But next time, Purdue Pete deserves a shot at a more reasonable argument, such as why Gene Keady should launch a second career as an anger management counselor"

Ouch!

DiPrimio's "article" seems more appropriate for a bash board than a news article. Sign of the times?

After raving about king of the Indiana football mountain, his fast fact is hilarious.

Joe Tiller (4-4) and Jack Mollenkopf (10-4) are the only Purdue coaches to have won more than twice vs. the Irish.

As long as Leroy Keyes isn't on the field and Joe Kuharich isn't on the sidelines there is no edge for the Boilers.

At halftime, CW walked off the field with a 28-0... the Purdue faithful silenced as they just watched their coach get his @ss handed to him. CW looked like he was leaving a crime scene.

CW an ameteur? This writer perhaps... that and a hack.

Ah, Kings of Indiana college football again.

Yeah, that's the standard that Weis was brought in to restore.

IU is gonna beat these guys this year. The Hoosiers can compete.

No Taylor Stubblefield pumping his fists down the field this year.

Hmm, wonder why I couldn't find a gloating Pete DiPrimo article this morning talking about that awe-inspiring Purdue dominance from this weekend?

I don't mind someone talking smack... but I do mind it when they won't come back and say they are wrong. If he printed an article saying "I was wrong," I may actually change my viewpoint that he is a piece of crap.

I couldn't resist either, I emailed him also... something to the effect "Charlie Weis made Joe Tiller look downright ridiculous"...

he wrote back too...

"No way did I figure Notre Dame to destroy Purdue at Ross-Ade Stadium. No way did I figure the Boilers' defense to be this bad, or Notre Dame to play so well. Maybe the Irish can beat USC. And if Purdue doesn't resolve its problems quickly, it might end up with the worst record of the Joe Tiller era. "

That was good of him.

Agreed...I think the guy was going for shock value with that article.

I didnt get a response...but maybe it was the "P.S. Your an Idiot." at the end of my email.

By the way did rest of you guys get as big a laugh as I did when the camera showed the look on Spracks face after we scored...I think the 4th or 5th touchdown.

I loved it. He looked completely befuddled. I think he even said, "what just happened."

I think it was when Darius ran through a hole big enough for the USS Nimitz to score. Purdue had sold out on a blitz and Weis called a draw.
