USC/Syracuse couldn't even fill half of the New Meadowlands stadium for the game. They completely closed down the upper half. So pathetically sad and case and point about other schools not being a "national" brand.

Also, Syracuse fans only care about basketball. There is not going to be a ton of attention paid to this game in NYC. Its a pro town, with a decent interest in college basketball. College football is persona non grata. Its a decent trip for Cuse fans from the Syracuse area to go down to NYC (4.5 hours) just to see their team get curb stomped.

The only surprising thing about this game not selling a lot of tickets is that someone had the idea to play the game at the Meadowlands in the first place. That person should be fired.

I did enjoy it. I lost my voice in the first half but it was nice. People were a lot more willing to get up and cheer this game. I had some good dudes behind me in my section. I got to go up and tailgate with my aunt and uncle. I got some cheap tickets in section 13 early enough that I was able to see the trumpeters in the dome. (first time to see that) We won the game and I only got slightly sun burnt so overall was a good time. Didn't have to make the walk of shame this game.
