Point of order: the riddle, as stated, asks how many times can the number 5 be subtracted from (the number) 25. Ergo, one is subtracting 5 from 25 each and every time. There are no intervening variables or conditions. As such, 95NDAlumNM is correct.

LOL, interesting point, guess it depends on your interpretation. However, he who posteth the riddle shall maketh the rules, and all others shall be smoteth (and the website I pulled it from said ndfan4life's answer was the correct one too).
