i never really understood how he got recruited by notre dame anyway.

but youre right about him not being the douchebag that dj was. remember in the georgia tech game last year when he ran out of the tunnel ahead of everyone else? it was then that i began despising him.

yeah and then charlie let him throw a pass, which was incomplete! ha. i would still take demetrius ahead of JC, because lets face it everybody, JC is the most overrated QB to ever come to ND...thats right, ahead of Ron Powlus. Demitrius was never given a fair chance, and anyone who seen the game knows that.

What a stupid post. He isn't even done with his sophomore season. If he is the same in 2 years maybe you are right. For now, you can have Jones.

you can't be serious. He is buried on the Cincinnati depth chart.

And if it wasn't for (1) a stupid theory of CW's that he needed to install a spread package to defeat Georgia Tech; and (2) an injury to Jimmy Clausen: he would have never saw the field at ND. Not to mention he was an asshole and displayed absolutely no class in his departure from ND.

You realize he can't play this year, right? That might account for his placement on the depth chart.

As to your other points, I have no idea if you are right or wrong.

Actually, I'm not sure that's true. I believe he withdrew from ND early enough that this isn't the case. He sat out the majority of last season. I could be wrong, but I thought I read something about that last year when the whole mess was going on.

Did he transfer to Cincy by the 12th day of classes? I think that is the rule.

This article Jones makes transfer to Cincinnati official - USATODAY.com dated 9/28/07 states he had to sit out last year.....

Kelly said UC has four or five seniors who are scheduled to graduate at the end of fall quarter. When one of their scholarships becomes available, it will go to Jones, who will have to sit out this year under NCAA rules for transfers.

And this one Cincinnati readies 4 QBs for No. 24 South Florida - USATODAY.com dated 10/29/08 says he prepared to play in a game this season.....

Pike is expected to start, unless the arm is giving him problems. Anderson would be next in, with Collaros and sophomore Demetrius Jones ready.

He transfered into Cincy before their 12th day of class. So he was able to sit out last year and count that as his year. I thought I remember reading that he wasn't grasping the offense at Cincy.

DJ is available to play, and has actually seen time this year. Cincinnati has played 5 qb's this year. As starter Grutza got injured, Tony Pike became the starter, when he got injured...Cincy put in Collaros and Anderson at times until Pike got back on the field.

Funny thing is, they still won 11 games. DJ saw action (very little) in one of the games.
He is the 5th on the depth chart, mainly thought to be due to him not knowing the playbook.
