I just don't think Reese is any type of answer to our problems. Jonas hangs on to the ball, Floyd doesn't hold, H. Smith shakes the two face masks, and Riddick can catch a cold, we are smashing USF. Reeses ball is weak and inaccurate. I'll admit that Crist needs to work on consistency in his accuracy, but he is leaps and bounds better with decisions, proper calls, and arm strength. I hope this decision doesn't kill us. But I think it will.

Yeah, Rees is much better than Crist at this point. I think its his attitude. He is not a long term solution but will do for now over Crist.
Hendrix should be getting in the mix one of these next two games I believe.

Crist has had 2 bad passes from what I can tell.

The defense has played well but it is hard to CARRY the whole defense.

WHAT? Did you watch the same game as me? Crist may have the worst accuracy and slowest decision making I've ever seen. I wanted to believe soooo bad that he had turned the corner but it's obvious now that he's not even CLOSE to the corner. I just don't understand what he is looking at out there. He takes forever to make a decision and when he does he can't hit the broad side of a barn. The kid has so much athletic ability, but it's all for naught if the mental ability isn't there with it. Tommy may have hit his ceiling athletically, but he is a mental Peyton Manning compared to Crist who is a mental Jamarcus Russell. I love the guy for what he could be, but I think he needs to ask Tommy to be his mentor.

Ok, arm strength is an issue. But accuracy is not. Rees is a great decision maker and has incredible accuracy. His one bad throw was the one that was well behind Floyd. Other than that he may very well have had zero incompletions if his receivers opened their eyes and their hands. He was hitting guys in the numbers and in THE HEAD and they couldn't seem to hold on to anything. I feel bad for Rees, because this game was won if everyone else played the way they should have. For once we lost in spite of Rees, not won in spite of him.

I don't know what to think right now. Has Crist seen his last snaps at Notre Dame? A guy with that much promise, but nothing to show for it. The minute he steps on the field all his swagger and ability disappear.

How many games can we win with Tommy? I don't think it's a question at all that we will win more with him than with Dayne, but when is the last time that our biggest problem was finding a solid quarterback?
