I won't judge strictly on wins but yeah next year is it... we must look like a more complete teams and start bringing in some top flight defensive talent also... I'll say this a bowl win this year will go a LONG LONG LONG way in my mind

Yep! I agree with you guys. I really think we will be a talented team next year. 10-2 is not too much to expect. If he has another disappointing year recruiting will suffer greatly. This year may hurt some as far recruiting goes. We still have enough to make a showing though. Need to finish strong. An upset over USC would be SWEET!

I guess my bar has been set a little lower for this year. I just keep having the visual of the bar graph my class made tracking our favorite teams number of touchdowns. We had THREE touchdowns going into the 5th game with Purdue. THREE total in 4 games, 0-4 at that point.

Last year was so horrendous that any improvements this year keeps me positive. 2010 if they are not legit, than Charlie had his shot. Skip Holtz will have a whole lot of experience by then too...

Oh it's DEFINATELY possible... but someone mentioned 10-2 like we should waltz to 12-0... UCONN, Mich, MSU, USC, Pitt... those are all quality games... sorry Mich will almost CERTAINLy be a different team next year... and who knows what will happen at Washington with a new coach... I personally expect big things from our boys over the next two and a half years, but let's not talk about 10-2 like it's gonna be easy or like 9-3 is a failure...

At home or on the road. We finish 7-5 Maybe 6-6 if Navy gets the best of us again.

MSU hurt but this was a "guess who's back game" and against Mark May's alma mater at that... this one, the Bush Push, the 90 Orange Bowl, BC 93, and The U's 4th and forever on us... those are the loses that gave me the feeling I had at the end of this one... that's just me...
