Just thought I would let everyone know that doug gottleib and andy katz on sportscenter both picked winthrop to win. I cant say im surprised. Dickie V did pick ND though. Personally I am nervous but i THINK nd will pull it out. Interested to see what everyone else thinks...

ND also has Hubert, Digger of course, and surprisingly Skip Bayless on their side though. Hubert and Skip even picked ND to go to the Elight 8. Not suprisingly though was America's fan vote. Winthrop over ND was one of the few majority upsets in the whole bracket.

Im not saying we are going to but i think this is the best team ND has ever had. If any year to win it, its this year.

2:35pm EST on CBS. Although I think all of Texas will be getting the Wisconsin/TAMU-CC game, so you'll have to getr the satalite package, or watch it on-line.

I see Winthrop in an upset. I don't know much about basketball, but I will say this, I HATE TA. These little Dukies are all hype and no substance. I can see why Nd will fall for one of these guys, but not us.

Seriously, though, before you shower praise on Brey, keep in mind that Nd was a MUCH BETTER basketball team before Brey, when Doherty was the coach. They were on the cusp of being a solid, top 25 team every year. Doherty built them up as such. Brey's tenure has only resulted in regression and underachievement. In fact, you guys should be disappointed if Brey does not advance to the Sweet 16 this year.

Look at all of those empty seats...that is annoying.....the NCAA is a joke...not only do they screw us on the seeding but also by putting the game in no mans land.....score is 26-26 but I must say Winthrop really is not looking impressive...a lot of sloppy out of control play

we are playin so bad falls has missed like 10 3s but think of it this way carter, harrangody, and kurz played barely any minutes.

Winthrop went of a 13-2 run at the end of the first half to take a 32-28 lead over the Irish. If ND could find a way to shoot a little better, and stop making silly fouls I don't think this game will be that clase near the end.
