McShay does not know more about football than BK. lets be serious.

Two things about this game. One- Notre Dame plays a super bowl every week, so if they are beaten it will be because the opponent was just better. 'Trust me' Notre Dame will not be overwhelmed by the big stage. Two- Kelly will have plays to counter what he knows Alabama is trying to do to stop Golson. Notre Dame will run the ball better than people think and I believe Kelly will play this game fast and open to let the offense feel their rythym. Alabama is a fantastic group- I pick them to win this game which should make all my Irishenvy brothers feel much better. Mark this- people who think Notre Dame will be outclassed athlete to athlete will be shocked to see that Notre Dame is that good. I've taken heat by saying that I would make the Alabama QB beat me. The Alabama crowd thinks his completion percentage makes him a superior Qb. I would take my chances by making him go deep. Once again Notre Dame will run the ball better than people think. I think there will be far more points scored in this game than the experts predict.

I don't think Kelly held anything back this year to save for this game. If he did hold back shame on him because some of the games were too close for comfort. Now that doesn't mean he can't put in some new plays. I just don't think Kelly was saving plays all year for the bowl game.

You typically add to your playbook as the season progresses. Making a lot of changes now might be sending a message that what got us here isn't good enough to win. Changes will be subtle.
