From the bits and pieces that have appeared on various sites. Coach Weis's itinerary included:
Monday - Midwest [Ben Martin, Josh Oglesby]
Tuesday - Michigan [Ronald Johnson, Dionte Allen, Joseph Barksdale, et. al.]
Wednesday - New Jersey [Mike Ragone, Justin Trattou, Anthony Davis, Duval Kamara].
Pete Sampson on Rivals Radio reported on Tuesday that Kamara, Benn, Ragone, Trattou, and Williams may all be ready to commit to Notre Dame. Further, unsubstantiated Ragone may hold a press conference on Monday.
Is there any significance to Coach Weis's itinerary for his "May Magical Mystery Tour," - highest priorities or most tenuous recruits first - or is it simply based upon geography?
Logically, Washington, DC would be next. Followed by FL. Next week, CA?
If Coach Weis has a flare for the dramatic, and after last weekend, there is no doubt that he does. It makes sense to let the other recruits have their "day in the sun" and let them commit at their schools. They can then get the maximum publicity, as well as give the impression that the Notre Dame "recruiting train is picking up speed, so you'd better jump on board before all of the seats are filled!"
When I re-read my post, it sounded like John Dean during the last Presidential campaign. "First we'll win in Ohio, then Michigan, New Jersey, Florida, California, then the White House. Wow!"
Anyone have any updates, confirmations, etc.?
