They're behind the 2000's and 2010's Patriots, as I consider those dynasties separate, since there's a 10 year gap between the last Pats super bowl in 2004 and their next one in 2014. But they won 3 rings in 4 (01, 03 and 04) and 3 rings in 5 (14, 16, 18).

They're behind the 70's Steelers, whom won 4 rings in 6 seasons.

The 90's Cowboys won 3 rings in 4 seasons.

The Niners won 4 rings in 9 seasons.

I'd say the Chiefs' current dynasty currently trails all of them. If they win another ring or more in the next 3 years, then I think they will overtake the Niners and they'll have the Cowboys beat for longevity. If they get 2 more rings, they'll have the Steelers beat for sheer rings.

They would be toward the bottom of dynasties if it ended today.

Steelers 70's was undefeated in Super Bowls.
Cowboys 90's undefeated in the big game.
Early 00's Pats...undefeated in big game. The loss to the Giants ended their dynasty.

Not only have the chiefs lost, they've been humiliated twice.

Technically the Packers 1960s run included the first 2 Super Bowls, so titles in 1961, 1962, 1965, 1966, 1967.

Dallas won three Super Bowls in four years and if they'd been a bit luckier in 94-95 in the NFC Championship against the 49ers they also go on to beat the Chargers.

That's still the best team/run that I have seen in my lifetime in terms of overall talent.
