What's up with the Shark?

Something's wrong with a guy who got plenty of seperation last year, but is getting no seperation this year. He was a deep threat last year, but has not caught a deep pass this year. When we needed a first down, more times than not the ball goes to Rhema or Carlson or Walker. Shark is nonexistent right now and maybe we need to discuss the fact that he's either dogging it or just not playing with the same fire and intensity as last year. I know teams are doubling and tripling him, but 4 catches for 30 yds is not going to get it. I know we are concerned about Quinn's accuracy, but does anyone notice he's holding on to the ball longer and locking onto receivers. We need guys to get open. He doesn't have all day to throw like he did last year. If we get past MSU, we should be able to fix some of the problems. Right now, we don't have a chance to "get better". We have to "be better". Our September schedule is unforgiving. Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if Shark has said "I've already got my millions". Money does change people. It's unfortunate, because we really don't have a No. 1 receiver. No. 1 receivers don't develop a case of the dropsies at the most crucial time.

i think it has to do with people knowing and d coachs making it top priority to stop the shark i mean no one knew who he was last year and he was making out of this world catchs i dont think you can just say one part of this offense is to blame

man they are triple teaming this man every play the first td of the scummer game he ran a post and brang three defenders with him which made it possible for mconnel to be wide open man everyone is so quick to cast people out its unreal

What about after the interception in the second half? Mich intercepted and Shark was right there to make the tackle and basically just pushed the guy. At this point I commented to my buddy that maybe he is concerned about his million dollar contract in baseball? Extremely bizarre...

He didn't even make an attempt on the guy. He pulled up and watched whereas Rhema, who was 15 yards downfield past Jeff, ran the sideline and ended up making the tackle. If anyone has this game Tivo'd go back and watch when they cut to the widescreen angle, you'll see Rhema 15 yards away from the play and watch how he catches him.

Rhema is busting his ass right now whereas Jeff is playing soft. Hopefully the coaching staff will get on Jeff about this because it was blatently obvious.

Absolutely! I made note of this here after the game and no one said boo about it. I don't care how bad your ass is getting beat, make the tackle or at least an attempt. Personally, I think I would have been so pissed about the score that I would have wanted to take the guy's head off. Wasn't gonna change the outcome but it sure as hell would have been a great anger release. Alot better than punching your locker or a wall.

I'm not trying to cast the guy out but dammit, play with some heart. If you're getting beat bad, get angry. I'm sure he was pissed at the passes at his ankles, over his head and behind him but I would think he'd want to take it out on the opposition.

that should make ez pickins's for Brady....so what's going on?
