Russell has made tremendous strides since his first game against Navy. Which I truly didn't expect to see this early.

Bennett Jackson is a superb athlete but he sure does like getting his hips locked in the wrong direction against the smallest hint of a double move.

I fully expect to see Baratti getting more looks. From what I've heard, he is faster than Motta. Unfortunately, he has 0 experience.

I'm curious about how much Mich/Bama film Diaco has watched. After watching film they played a lot of 335 or 3-4 with 4 down.

With Slaughter out, I'd assume we're going to try to maintain or improve speed in our secondary against Robinson. Motta has shown improvement since week one but he's still out of position a lot and doesn't have a lot of catch up speed once he's beat, but we'll definitely need his leadership in the secondary.

I think Baratti and Jalen Brown will get a decent amount of reps this week.

If we can contain the edges and still maintain a great pass rush, we should have no problem stopping everything except his broken plays which he somehow finds every game against us. Once his feet are shuffling, and he's going to throw it, watch out rows 1-5 for air mail.

One last thing, I don't mean anything dirty or try to injure the guy, but physicality is a must. Even if that requires a roughing penalty or 2.

Alabama roughed him up hard and early. Once that happened, it looked like he lost complete focus.

After your meltdown after the navy game, your opinion means very little.

carry on...

If you mean my opinion about our secondary being barely mediocre and protected by a great pass rush, then by all means, prove me wrong.

That was before Slaughter's injury too.
