Pack your bags folks, looks like the Irish are headed to the Champs Sports bowl in Orlando, Florida. The game usually features the Big East #2 (or ND) against the ACC #3 (currently Maryland) The game is on December 28th, so beg your families for tickets for Christmas! How do you think the Irish will match up against the Terps?

Maryland has a pretty good looking offense as of late. But our D has made better offenses look pathetic.

I also think we match-up against the Terps in Orlando and I like the match-up. Maryland's defensive secondary is suspect and we have a couple weeks to get healthy and take full advantage. By the time this game takes place, Theo Riddick will be 100% along with T.J. Floyd will be running on fresh legs and I like our chances with this coaching staff having us prepared. Diaco has really stepped up his game in preparing our defense and although our offense has been average, I like a couple weeks of prep time for BK.
If we play the Terps than my early prediction is:
ND- 24
Maryland- 13
