Rumor has it on some other boards that 3 additional coaches are leaving the program. 4 if you count Lewis, but he's still gonna be with the program in some respect.

All of them seemed to interact with the new recruits on the phone on the signing day video.
If I was leaving or being fired, I wouldn't seem so enthusiastic. I doubt there will be more changes, but who knows. I'm in favor of anything that will dramatically increase the number of wins Go Irish!

My guess is that Polian (sp) may be on the outs. I also saw a snipit on Haywood but nothing confirmed. (basically repeats of things posted elsewhere).

Anyone else is pure speculation. Guess we will find out with the Friday presser.

Damn rumors...I thought after signing day this crap would be over. I do not mind if people have sources (Goshen Gipper for example) but saying I read on another board or my cousin's best friends baby's daddy's barber said it was true is getting old!!!

It was all a rumor, the press conference is going on right now. The only changes are he is going to let Coach Haywood do the play calling. He is going to deal with special teams with Polian and in fact is meeting with Beamer at VT to get some help. Then just a few personnel issues were talked about.

interesting about releasing more offensive coordinator duties. probably a smart move. the question will be whether Haywood fits that role. (i'm not saying he doesn't)

Like the adjustments which Weis is making. Less play calling responsibility and more of a head coch role. I will say this much for him, he isn't afraid to change. Should be interesting to see how this pans out.
