Part of me likes this about Weis but I think it has possibly accounted for both losses. Michigan game, choosing to pass on 2nd and 3rd down. Id be a hypocrite to criticize him. I was at the game and me and another ND fan both applauded him for trying to win the game versus trying to "hold on" while it was going on.
Versus SC we had a fairly long field goal chance but went for it and failed. Momentum shifted and who knows.

It’s questionable calls like going for it on fourth down that cause such criticism to be thrown at Charlie Weis.
Too bad he catches it and an Irish receiver couldn’t catch the ball on that last play
